 Horse racing distances
Hi just a quick question.
I used to play this years ago when the online comp just started and I have tried searching the forums for an answer but can't seem to find anything, so apologies if this has already been asked and answered.
I seem to remember the horses were very restricted as far as race distances went.
eg. 7 fur horse could only win at 7 fur and 1m 3f horse could only win at 1m 3f etc. (I remember really good horses could win at different distances but ordinary horses were only raceable at their set distance)
We asked at the time for a bit more flexibility with the horses and were told it might be brought in on a later version. eg. 1m 2f horse being able to drop down to run at 1m or even step up to 1m 4f and 7f horse being decent at 6f or 1m as well.
Can you tell me if horses now have a bit of flexibility in their running distances.
Thanks and once again apologies if this has already been answered.
Rob

 Re: Horse racing distances
Thanks for the response.
It would take some horse to get close to winning all of that, but as I said in my post, really good horses always used to be able to compete at different distances but it was the ordinary horses I was worried about, or does everybody just dump the ones that can only race at one distance.

 Re: Horse racing distances
There's definitely more flexibility across all abilities in my experience Rob. Nowhere near as narrow as previous versions, also horses aging has a real impact over time too. Hope that helps.
