Post Re: Time for Mark to step up?
good shout i think so5 is nearly perfect now so would be great if Mark could help Rich with a soloution and get this season up and running
i can see this drifting away and we may never get the lge back even though i no everyone in charge is commited to it just feels as though
the whole thing has been put on the back burner

I Agree alot of people buy this game for the lge
if it was not for the lge i would not have been playing so5 for the past 3 or 4 months
because its only natural that you get bored with games and without the lge to aim for i would have got bored with so5 in a couple of months or any game even though so5 its incredably addictive you get bored with any game eventually not a Criticism

and i think there are many trainers like me who are playing for the lge so would be great to see the games creator get involved & come
to the rescue i also think it would be good if Mark could make improvements for lge trainers in the future maybe even chat to some of us and see what we can suggest on how to improve the game LGE wise

I'm not sure if Mark is any better position than say, me, in terms of creating an online platform. We really need someone with those skills, even DD and Colm are nowhere near fully proficient.

On a personal level I am really frustrated, I have been playing SO5 a fair bit and think I have my strongest string for a long while! Cannot wait to put beaky in his place

I've never played the league before and trying to train and breed for the league is a real ballache so any help in terms of just making it easier to play while aiming for the league would be great! I worked for a little while towards the league but got bored pretty quickly because it is so hard to get anywhere.

I do think a huge amount of people play this game for the league only so it's only fair that Mark assists in any way he can to help get it running, he's produced a great game, patched over and over again to make sure it is of the highest quality and this would be the last step to making the game truly fantastic

This was going to be my first season in the league but that sounds a bit definitive, should we be concerned or is there something going on behind the scenes which we don't know about? Come on throw us a bone :?

That's the thing, at the moment not a lot is happening although not much actually needs to happen... The problem is TOM, it was designed a number of years ago and it's outdated, cumbersome and hard to maintain. It does however work and is a lot better than manually arranging things.

We really need a new system but we need someone who can create that.

What has changed in Tom since the last league? Can you not run it the same just now instead of waiting for someone to improve it that isnt going to happen any time soon.

You are saying TOM works but we need a new system, the only way we will get a new system is by paying someone to make it, no one is doing anything to get a new system so dont see why we arent using the old system if it still works, I was under the impression that TOM dosent work anymore.

TOM does work but it needs DD to reset it and set it up each season, not ideal.

Well I've heard from dave now, he's very busy with his personal life hence the delay but hopes to be able to tackle things in a week.
