How to know which is the preferred tactic of my horse. I can choose your tactics horse as ideal?

With a gamebred horse let your jockey do what he wants. After a few starts you'll get an idea what your horses preferred tactic is. With a horse you bred yourself you can judge by the parents preferred style of running as to which tactic your horse should like.

as I make my horse go well situated for the race and speed at the end.
Where is that option? Even Pace?

Because I use tactic Force or Pacemaker? even if you always lose the best horse.

:(

To be in a good/prominent position throughout the race you probably need to select the 'race handy' option. 'Even pace' will have your horse in midfield.

As has been stated above i usually let the jockey decide for the first 3 or 4 runs and by then you should have a good idea what suits your horse, whether its your own bred horse or not.

It can also depend on how good your horses are.

I have some good horses in my stable, (not world beaters but good horses). I always run them in a race using the handy instruction over the shorter distances and use even or hold up over the longer distances.

All my sprint\miler horses naturally want to run even, but when I race them handy they win 99% of the time, when I race them even\early they only win 80% of the time. The reason for this is that they get caught up in race traffic and can't get past slower horses.

I trialled my 5 best miler horses in the ck with the even and then the handy instruction. They all raced about 0.2sec faster with even instruction if that helps. There was no race traffic to hold them up.
