 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Nah.. Just a bit of fun until the league starts. As they say the League is where it's at. Looking at the times in CK for my current horses compared to the horses that have posted the times here I'm probably able to beat most of the times here between 5f and 1m but that would require running them and finding the right races on the right race course and that's time consuming. Better to try and beat my CK times .

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Well the league will reveal all and it's not that far away from starting. FWIW I've posted my times in bits and pieces in my posts and since the trials in October I've been studying for exams which I've just sat in Early Dec so the times I've got are not that different from previous. Slightly faster of course but then others have posted similar times a long while ago too. jalupen wrote: have trialled about two thirds of my horses and heres where i stand
5f 58.22 (5s) 6f 1.10.83 (5s) 7f 1.23.52 (3f) 1m 1.39.70 (3c) 1m2f 2.09.15(5m) 1m4f 2.33.12 (4m)
as you can see mainly concentrating on sprinters/middle distance horses but the longer distance horses are now coming through will update when ive finished 58.22 and that was back in July.. better ask Jalupen how much faster he's gone as I think he'll be the man to beat there. andyx101 wrote: Hi I'm playing two games concentrating on 6/7f and have some good horses I'm about 25 seasons in and have hit 110.7 over 6 and 122.8 over 7 havant seen any one posting faster times than 111.0 and 1.23.0 just wanted to no how many others had broken these barriers Also in July.. I wonder how much faster Andy has gone too. But half the fun is not knowing and hoping that you'll do well in the league .

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
These courses you're achieving the records on are a myth.
The records should only account for UK & Ireland racecourses.

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
They are world records any course any horse in your game as long as you post an image as proof thats fine
Moone Valley and Warwick Farm are real tracks anyway

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Why would there be 'mythical' courses on starters orders? I don't particularly follow Aussie racing and even I've heard of Moonee valley, home of the cox plate.

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
There should also be constraints of the type of ground conditions.
I believe the WR times should be clocked on good ground, no slower, no faster.
To improve fairness & equality.
Especially as some of us are using different schedules and don't have these donkey tracks in our game.
Epsom & Goodwood are the only tracks on hard ground that you can mount a challenge on and waiting for those conditions could take years.

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
I personally think its fine the way it is but that is only my opinion I do think it would take alot of time to filter out anything apart from records on good ground right now all a player has to do is check the record times in there game then post an image this can be done very quickly in 5 mins you suggestion it would be very time consuming a record is a record IMO Also Luke people play this game from other counties AUS IRE USA and use those versions of the game would be wrong not to allow those players from those countries to have there records recognised
if anyone lese agrees with Luke i am happy to change the format i am only updating the records they are your records

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
I agree with PJR, the records should stay as they are, no point messing with the ground! Its not something any of us can interfere with, might just a bit of luck that u get hard conditions on the day your horse runs the perfect race.
Its like saying Usain Bolt should have a WR for both running in dry conditions n in the rain! Conditions are just part of sport.

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Wait, are you telling me these records are not completed by horses from the players stables?
That's like Gatlin claiming Bolt's record is his because he's run in the same race as him.
Jesus there was me thinking some of you had monsters but there just AI records.

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Dunno about that PJ. Of the ones up to 2m (and including 2m) the only one that's game bred is at 1m3f. The rest (I'm pretty certain) are homebred.
