Post 140 rated sprinter???
What on earth does a sprinter have to achieve in so5 to get a 140 rating
milers 1m2 1m4 horses can get 140 rated very easily in so5 after a couple of runs
but poor old sprinters never get there in my game anyway

this is the beautifully bred SORRENTO who has done everything as a sprinter in the game and get a rating of 135

i saw quote unquote was very impressed wth the horse
ya its tough i have noticed that sprinters get a hike in ratings when they go down in class until they reach 130 then if you put them in g2 or
3 there rating then goes down

Hi Paul

You have a nice horse there is that inbreed
I had a 4yo get a rating of 133 but then i retired him to stud so i dont know what rating he would have had as a 5yo.
Has a 3yo in ck he clocks 58.2 dont know about 4yo i dont trail them that much i want fast 3yo's then i will get all the weight :P

I reckon it's harder to achieve higher ratings possibly because of the distance required to win by to get a higher rating, but I've noticed all my highest rated horses all are over staying distances and I regularly get 140 (admittedly they are my best horses as well -had a good foundation site that's still having an impact ten years down the line)

Some horse Paul bet the offspring are fast sprinters as well if bred with another speedy type.

Thanks Kev I have a copy of him at 3,4,5,6yo so started a new game and have my best female sprinters lined up to get covered by him
hopefully he becomes a decent sire & produces something that can get me under 58secs in ck
In his prime i dont think a gamebred had any chance of beating him
