 Re: New League president required.
AKHC said few weeks ago he has not played for months and he is going with what he had few months back if someone dominates then so be it just taking part is enough for me but we are all different just to get this started this is far superior than having no lge
Last season i managed to beat the established trainers at royal ascot in 2 or 3 group races 2yo races so it can be done

Like a pj I will be glad in picking up a Handicap but would love to pick up a G1 but if my horses are not good enough that's it whats a point of picking up a group race when really its a handicapper at best the best should always win the group races like irl.
What about you Keith picking up the mantle with PJ and both work along with steve. Is it not nice irl to see a lesser trainer win a G1? Rather than the same three or four win all the G1's because they have more money? Every now and then a smaller yard win a top race and its good for racing. Under the new proposals the trainers who put in the most time and have the best breeding operations will still win the majority of group races but would not dominate every division at every age. The amount of trainers winning a G1 will be very low. I dont have the time to do what is needed to help run the league.

 Re: New League president required.
or make some of the g1s (G1 handicaps) apart from classics
that would spread them around

 Re: New League president required.
and will get good field sizes a real bang to the end of the season
Maybe 5f final (the galaxy) 6f final (sepit salinger) 7f final (Dubai racing club) 1m final (the tj smith) 1m2 final (cox plate G1 handicap) 1m4 final (caufield Cup) 1m6 final (metropolitan) 2m final (Melbourne cup)
All official g1 handicap races apart from the cox would be great end of season for all and everyone would have a chance

 Re: New League president required.
I'm happy to do Tom stuff especially if it involves programming. Just need to know where we are at present. Really only want to be doing stuff on the Nh side though, but happy to code some changes into Tom in the future for the flat.
The important thing is to get some time scales as to when the league can start so we can start moving forward.

 Re: New League president required.
That's good for me. Does anyone know where we are in Tom. I'm not interested in being vice or president for that flat. I think Paul will be good for this. He has the dedication which will be needed for these roles. I'm interested in a role on the Nh side only
But I will be happy to help with work on Tom in the future for both flat and NH.
