 Re: New League president required.
These type of rules could be coded in. I am willing to do this (and will try implement this during the season) but first we need to get the league ready to roll.
Dave If you happen to read this. Could you email me at leonvanrensburg at yahoo dot com. Or if anyone has Dave's email address could they email it to me.
Thanks

 Re: New League president required.
What I meant was if a horse ran say 5th over 1 mile group race and then 3rd over say 12f group race . Over what distance would the horse be able to run in handicaps? I think you stating the horse will only be able to run over its maiden distances spread in handicaps even if its best run was over a distance outside of these boundaries in a group race. This is actually good as it will be easier to enforce and easier to code the rules. If someone runs doesn't run there horse over the horse best distance in maidens that's their problem.

 Re: New League president required.
Steve I know we have two weeks of maidens to begin with is it possible during the rest of the season to have one or two races a week in the NH Schedule (don't know if the flat people would want one) Maiden Hurdle/chase always thought then if a horse runs two good maidens at the beginning and are not good enough for graded/Group races and too high in the weights to win a handicap it can pick up a maiden or should I put this idea to leon now hes the NH President.

So I won't be able to run a horse in the Chester Cup and the Northumberland Plate?

 Re: New League president required.
well personally i have all my horses sorted by best diastance anyway i have my best horses at there best distances & with a team of 30 you could have room for a 2mile and 2m2 horse in your team the rules will be same for everyone so its not a big issue IMO and as Leon stated if you intend to go for them races with the 1 horse make sure they run in maidens at those distances

 Re: New League president required.
Yes I want to see if horses can win mulitple big handicaps over a range of distances. Could I go for the Royal Hunt Cup, John Smiths and the Cambridgeshire? I have a few horses who could do that given the right mark.
