I go away for a few hours and it looks like its breaking down already I will have my say and my point of view.

1 the league looked dead and buried a week ago after rich resigned and mark ask us to try and find someone to take over.
2 A few of us posted asking for people to stick their hands up and take over
3 after a couple of days we got steve on board and fair play he jump in to do the schedules but wanted no president
4 again after discussions leon NH and PJ Flat where ask to take it the jobs and agreed
5 We agreed with steve about the schedules and the way to go forward.

Now what we need to do is get BOTH Flat And NH up in TOM quiker the better and that's what we should be doing while steve tweaks the schedule
Any discussions about anything else should wait see what and how the new league goes then discuss the way forward afterwards I know this only concerns the Flat side but hey guys/gals lets get this done and sort any further improvements for the second season of S05.

all i can do as president is try and get things running smoothly as i have no idea or experience with running the lge
dont even know who was involved in the past apart from Matt or Rich dont know how to do anything with Tom so i was hardly the ideal candidate to do this but no one else came forward so i will happily do my best

so all i can do is
try and organize the great group of people who have offered there services and all point forward and get the show on the road

Days went by when anyone could have got involved and there were far superior candidates to do this than me
but NOW at least with the help of a great group we can try and make this fun for all

Sorry who agreed on the flat schedule? And what improvements did we agree on?

Matt the few of us who where posting trying to sort out the league steve came on board and said he would do it the couple of us now I know that we where not the Majority of people but because we wanted to get it started we agreed with steve about the way forward so if by your statement is saying we all didn't agree of course your right.

And everyone should be able to have import into the league and what they want so lets use your thread and see what steve thinks about what we all want to see in it and if not all of the ideas are used this time then maybe season 2 all I want is to get this league started I am having withdrawal symptoms.

Having just caught myself up on the going's on here could I please remind people to treat the forum as a family place so no swearing please.

Also I can see a divide forming, including between the flat and jumps. That cannot happen, otherwise we will end up in the same situation we were in when Rick took over.

The thoughts initially were that the league needed to get underway ASAP because people have been waiting almost 6 months for it to start. However it has become apparent that some people don't agree with that. A general consensus needs to be reached, or we will lose valuable people and we will still be in the s**t with no president and no league.

I will start another thread for those discussions.

Firstly I would like to apologise for the manner in which I resigned. It was abrupt and I didn't let the people who had invested so much time know of my intentions. My work has just gone insane, it is a huge opportunity to make a life changing amount of money and make a difference to a lot of people. As a result I have been all over the country and on occasion to parts of the world I never want to see again with virtually no free time on my computer. I thought that it would be manic for a month and then I would be able to recruit a team to take some of the workload, well that was a stupid thought and if anything I am more busy.

Please, for the sake of the league, always act with the goal of betterment. If you aren't providing a solution you are part of the problem (see, I've got the management talk down to a tee already).

I am most disappointed that I won't be able to participate in the league. I had a great breeding line going when weekends were days off. I've not even been following the racing. I might be taking some business partners to a Festival day so I'll need some tips from people. My Tent Or Yours looks pretty decent although I'll probably go on the Wednesday to watch Sprinter Sacre hack up.

All the best chaps and hopefully I'll be back sooner rather than later. It is just a game, please play to participate in the fantastic community here, winning is great but it's the taking part that counts.

The league I believe is in good hands and I think this coming season should be good. I've expanded on your schedule and its looking rather nice. All the best mate.

You have left very big shoes to fill mate thanks for all you did over the years i was only involved in the past 2 years
but you as president made the lge very enjoyable & Very fair for us all and you are a great loss to the Lge

We now have a great team of people with the same view of making the lge better than ever
we have made great strides together in the last 2 weeks we really have some great people onboard

good luck for the future Rich the opportunity you have sounds very exciting indeed all the best with it
