Definitely competitive at 10/12f. I've a low of 2:07:75 at 10f and 2:32:58 at 12f though I'm mostly now testing on Epsom for 12f. What times are do you see at Epsom for 12f?

Speaking of freaky I've all but given up testing at 1m6f on Ascot. One in every 15-20 races I get a result like below whereas the rest of the time I see winners clocking anywhere from 3:06:5 to 3:08.

I find Doncaster much more predictable where winners clock between 3:00 and 3:01 though I occasionally dip under 3 mins there. Any times for Doncaster?

keith what sort of times are the older versions running?as your 1m4f time ive got similar times but the 4yo version i just tested ran2.32.5 nearly pissed me pants!! ran 6 or 7 races nothing over 2.32.9

I dont have my best 3yo as a 4yo but of the others I did 2:32.34 once and never above 2:32.75. I am using a pacemaker though, which is helpful for breeding but wont be for the league. I might have to find some early pace or handy horses, or those that break well, and start using them to see what that does to my times and results.

I've done 2:30.2 for the boys and 2:30.35 for the girls at Epsom, though my trials thow up so many different winners.

At Donny I cant get below 3:03 for 1m6, so those are very good times. Good luck in the leger! I think the pic you posted is a freak result in the ck, I once had a horse do 4:35 over 2m4 in SO4 but I haven't seen it in SO5 yet.

Just trialed (not Many) some older mid distance horses i exported in finished breeding now
will run then in serious trials against 3yos best will go in lge team dont think i will have entry in epsom classics so
far behind others as you can see best 229 other trainers 227 would rather a older 1m4 horse for handicaps
