Post Re: Final Flat Schedule
Its not perfect but I do now think there are enough low grade handicaps at all ages and distances.

There are certainly enough Group races, which we knew already, and it might now be we don't have enough 0-110's at certain distances and could do with a few more listed events.

It will pay to have a full team of 2yo's that's for sure as there are plenty of nurseries.

Please download and comment.

17f seems a bit far for 2y/o's :o

Ascot Gold Cup is down as only 2m

We have a bit more time and in places the schedule is still unbalanced. I am making some changes this morning but if anyone can download and take a look it would really help. What type of race are we lacking in?

Here is the latest schedule. It would be good to get some feedback, positive or negative. We've tried to make it as balanced as possible. There are a lot of G1's but a lot of low grade handicaps have also been added.

This is probably the final schedule but if there was something really lacking then it could be updated once more.

Great job on the schedule.

Just curious as to why there is only 1 handicap and 1 nursery at 0-85. Maybe these races could be 0-90 instead.

Thanks Kev. Im not sure actually. It'll be fine for now. Are there 0-110 the same week over same distance? Its a bit group heavy but I hope it makes the league enjoyable for stables of all levels.

Agreed, league should be enjoyable for all.

There is a 0-110 Nursery in the same week, so everything looks ok there.
It's the sprint races in week 6 that I'm not sure about. In total there are 6 6f races and only 1 over 5f:

1 x 6f Grp1
1 x 6f Mdn
1 x 6f 0-110 h'cap
1 x 6f 0-110 h'cap (3 yo only)

1 x 6f 0-75 h'cap
1 x 5f 0-80 h'cap
1 x 6f 0-85 h'cap

I definitely think we need to consider changing something or there is a possibility of very small fields in at least 1 of the 6f races.
e.g. make the maiden a 5f race. or change the 6f 0-85 to a 5f 0-90 or 0-100.
