Re: Final testing - TOM - race entries
just clicked on the link and the horse has been nominated. Not sure why I got the error message
I think because the horse didn't show up in the noms I clicked the nom button again which caused the duplicate error entry message

Hi Dave
Haven't received your email. Must be an anti- kiwi bias. Could you send it again. Thanks

Re: Final testing - TOM - race entries
I've just uploaded the NHC Schedule.
I have hard coded TOM View Races to display the NHC schedule. I will work on the code to select/change leagues.
You can browse through the schedule and see the races but you won't be able to enter races for a number of reasons but primarily because there is currently no race closing time for any of the NHC races.

Re: Final testing - TOM - race entries
Just to be clear.
It was not my intention to prepare for a multi-league launch. I understand that there are many who prefer NHC but the decision to launch both leagues concurrently has meant some of the corners I cut have had to be revisited.
No problem for me but just managing people's expectations - it's not twice the work but it is extra work and does impact on the timings I had initially thought were doable.
You can now change leagues - it is basic at present but enough to live with and we can look at making more sophisticated at a later stage if required. This is on the view stables and view races page only. I haven't testing with uploading horses yet and will let you know when that is ready.

Re: Final testing - TOM - race entries
Thanks dave I think we would rather have both leagues running at the same time to be fair to people who prefer the jumps like me or flat we are all raring to go but I think we all looking forward to the new league and if it takes a extra week so what lol its been a year since the last one nearly another week won't hurt anyway Dave thanks for you work.

Re: Final testing - TOM - race entries
Fair enough but I'm just making the point that I had initially committed to getting the UKRA up and running and had made decisions around prioritising functionality on that basis.
I simply want to manage expectations as while progress has slowed from the trainer point of view, that's largely due to the fact that I am having to backtrack on things I had deliberately parked.
Mind you, taking a positive view, most of these things only need to be done once and then they are out of the way.
You should now be able to upload horses to the NHC. Keep in mind that this is all test data so you can add whatever you like for testing purposes.
