just started trialing my leftover 2yo who are now 3 and they smashed my best time

just done a few trials but my best time for newmarket 3yo only good g1
is 137.84

still way behind some but a massive improvement and lots of trialing to be done yet and more 2yo to train on at 3
happy days

Gratz on breaking 1:38. I've not done much work under 1m. Been trying to break 2:33 at 12f with little success though also been away for last 2 weeks without any time for SO5. (Family holidays = laptop free environment!) .3s is nothing and I have a feeling there are others who will be going faster than 1:37.5!

Colts 1.37.2 twice but it is 1.37.4 most of the time
Fillies are 1.37.6
I think my best chance of winning anything is at 10f

anything else will be handicap bound
have not worked on any middle or long distance team at all and wont now just early ingame exports thaat are well behind standard
but if handicap works could sneak a race if i have space for them

next i am sending best bred leftovers to nh game for fun and sort out a nh team

I dont think you need to be doing times as low as 1:38 to be competitive at handicap level. I think the Guineas winner will post something in the 1:37's but handicap horses could be upto 1:40, though will be winning of marks in the 60's. Im sure there will be a few horses well handicapped after the maidens and possibly even after some of the trials for the early season stuff But there are handicaps throughout the season. Some of the 0-80's are "feature" races from the smaller/lesser courses as well.
