Uploading my team ive accidently uploaded my fillys as colts can this be changed ?

Which ones are fillies and I will change them

I advise you to make changes to your stable some of your horses will never run as there aren't enough races to have that many horses at one distance. You better off having a wider spread of distances. You better off uploading say 12- 15 this week. Playing a few games to get other distances and uploading the rest by next saturday

Only thing is only been last week or so ive been able to play so much generally I don't get time to play all that much but I will consider this.
I didn't plan on entering all the same horses week after week so hopefully most of them will be able to run.

Catetonia is the filly as i decided to get rid of the other 2 fillies

Just wondered how entries to the listed races in week 1 are decided if these are oversubscribed?

Or come to think of it if there are more than 30 entries in the maidens as well.

maidens will most likely be split into 2 divisions. I would guess the same would happen for the listed races.

Does that mean I can enter two horses :). I can place all 15 runners but not at their optimum distance.

no. only a select few races during the season will allow 2 entries, I'm not sure what they are on the flat tbh. the races during the first 2 weeks would be split into 2 divisions when needed to ensure every horse nominated for the race (1 horse per trainer) will get a run and therefore a rating for future weeks.

Ok.. as to the split races. I'm going to assume the group 3 races in week 2 are going to be based off ratings from week 1?

Also what are the distance rules? +/- 2f or 1f? I remember a poll but I don't recall seeing the final decision being posted anywhere

Your right about Grp races being based on ratings, but I'm not sure what will happen in week 2. The whole point of the first 2 weeks is for trainers to get at least 1 run into their horses. If any of these Grp races in week 2 is oversubscribed an unraced horse might still be allowed to run and the lowest rated runner, based on week 1 performances, balloted out. In future weeks (from week 3) I think the unraced horse would be the one for the chop. This is something that needs clarificaction tbh. If someone could sticky the UKRA rules for the new season that would be great.

Distance rules are at the bottom of this thread:

I dont think ill make the first week, not had any time recently with Cheltenham and the flat starting back, wanted to do more work at 1m (about .3 off PJs times) and 1m2, not started final trialling for any distance. Missed trial day because I didnt see till too late, would have definitely put a couple in to get a guide. Day off tomorrow as the racing looks poor so see what I can do then.

Still sound for the handicapping tho.

Do we need to re-set ratings? If so what do we need to re-set them to? Thanks.
