Id say get as many as you can in and try to have a balanced stable. Ie a 5f,6f,8f,10f,12f,14f horse etc etc Have 2yo's, 3yo's and older horses as well.


Any trainers first season should be treated as an experience and a winner or two along the way is a bonus. The league is tough but you'll get the hang of things as it progresses. Try to get all your horses into maiden over their correct distance.

Keith i know people take it serious but im in it just for the fun, unless theres some dirt races then my horses will take a beating. My game is all about the dirt( 90% on dirt), i love my US racing.

If i knew what to do ages ago then i would have saved afew good ones. If i win a h'cap or even run well then i will take it.

In my game they only race from 5f to 1 and a half miles so i'll have no stayers.

Good luck with your first season it will be a learning curve I had a couple of minor handicap winners in my first season but no winners in the second one I did better over the jumps maybe because I play the jumps game a lot more than the Flat game you will find dirt in the schedule the winter derby is on the all weather but we do have the Breeders cup meeting at the end of the season so just plug away you never know your dirt horses could have a advantage.

Hi ghostzapper this will be my first season too..my horses are basically dirt horses from my us game bred with some uk horses my horses love the dirt they dont like turf cant wait for the kentuck derby and preakness..maybe I should remove a nom of one of my horses and enter the winter derby because it is dirt but think I wont have a chance because its a group 3 and the better stables will be entering that one for sure..

Keenan i'm like u in that i designed my game to the US circuit, actually it's based on the racing circuit's i follow like Hastings- Northlands- Emmerald Downs- Arapahoe Park and afew others.

Most of my horse's are Ladies so i just hope there are fillies and Mares races.

I hope i have afew that are good enough to run in the Breeder cup races.

I've even got unraced two year old horses that have never run and i've never trailed them.

You should really look to race them and then export as they will run green and not have reached their full potential.

Keith i decided to do it because i've called him Burj Dubai who was a good horse but was a head case. So he's i'ver going to be good or he will be awful.
