I think everyone would like maidens throughout the season but the idea is to get a run or two into all your horses in the first two weeks and then there are more maidens just after halfway. The schedule already has too many races. For next season we could look at reducing the non maiden races and adding more maidens. I hope there is a discussion throughout the season and then some collective decisions made at the end for next seasons schedule.

I would really try to get all your horses a run next week as long as it is close enough to their preferred distance.
