We are even because Air Rhodes beat my horse Blades Busy at the bumper in the nh trials she came a close second...sure how about a rematch in week 2 in a bumper race Blades Busy vs. Air Rhodes round 3?

Post Re: National Hunt Week 1 Races
I think I had four winners - Mart DN, On The Money, Total Class and Ambry Ya F. I expected the last named to win and hopefully the World Hurdle is a target. The chasers surprised me, especially On The Money and Total Class who both won very well though there was some early fallers from big yards in both races. Mart DN won a trappy race so its hard to tell what the form will be like.

Most of my other runners ran well and a few will need stepping up in trip or different ground. Got to be happy as Im still a rookie with the NH league really.

Well done to all and thanks to those who ran the races and are busy writing reviews, updating ratings etc.

It's great to be underway again and some encouraging performances from my jumpers bodes well for future weeks.

1 winner - Mr Prospector
1 second - Sonic Glory
3 thirds - Rudd Threetress, No Culture, Pinnochio

Good runs also from Music Hall, Mr Benn and Humble Duty.

Well done to all winners and placers.

Well down the field with all of mine though not last with any which I am genuinely surprised about. All said outpaced, which I was expecting due to the limited spread of races and the fact I ran them slightly shorter to gauge their standard. Next week should step them up in distance.
