Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
Fugitive Motel coasted into the lead on the bridle, winning in quicker time than the other heat in week 2. Considering that 1m3f is too short that was very impressive. She is as close to a cert as I have. I could have entered her in the Ormondo stakes but as she comes from the rear was concerned about traffic.

There may be a chance he steals it then, even if it is a bit short. Will have a look on Saturday night. Did warn you that there is a lack of pace in the league

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
Race 17. Duke of York Stakes Flash Drive will go very close with conditions in his favour
Race 9 Earl Of Sefton Stakes Dibine Chemistry Second in Dubai. Ground a concern
Race 10 Chester Cup Tahiti Distance ideal. Weight not
Race 12 Chester Vase Dark Regime. Doubtful entry may run in Kentucky Derby
Race 13 Cheshire Oaks All About Eve A bit short but is very classy
Race 16 Yorkshire Cup Supply Train. Will be running on late. Place prospects
RAce 29 Abruzzi Maiden Wine Press. Conditions ideal. Will be running on late
Best chances are Flash Drive, Broken Chain and my nap Fugitive Motel who is thriving at present and the firm ground is what she wants

Did warn you that there is a lack of pace in the league The pace has been variable, but there have been some races where there has been plenty of pace. Doesn't seem to have made any difference to my winning though .

You may have noticed that Keith and me have almost no 3 year olds. We both decided that avoiding your monsters was the best policy and uploaded older horses instead I also have no milers. No point in wasting my stable spaces !!!

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
Dunno I'd say Keith has no 3 year olds. He's contesting almost every single 3 year old G1 race so far up to week 3. He has 9 (out of 19) horses that are 3 years old. I've got his league team and to be honest they are good enough to challenge. Enough that his team can win plenty of races against mine and there's enough variability that no horse runs well every time.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
R1 - PLATINUM - his aim was the Silver Bowl, but a blinder in the greenham means hes off a mark of 111 so cant get in, deserves a tilt at the guineas, the 1m should suit. R2 - GIULIETTA - would be confident if there was going to be pace in the Guineas but it doesnt look likely, going on what happend in the Nell Gwynn. R3 - MAYOR OF LONDON - expecting this horse to be a major player in the handicaps, 1m 1f is a bit short but should go well, Wolferton is the main aim. R5 - FLASHLIGHT - off a very nice mark, perfect trip, perfect ground, should go very well if he gets a good position early. R7 - NUNTHORPE - better than the mark he has, but 6f is too far, the Epsom Dash is the main aim. R8 - ONE OF A KIND - class filly, 1m 2f is the perfect trip, shes good enough to win this, whether there is an oaks winner in there as well remains to be seen. R11 - THEODORE - ran a cracker coming third in sheema, 1M 5f is spot on, course i think will suit, carries a penalty though. R12 - DAY DREAM BELIEVER - a good horse capable of winning a group race i believe, could be some good ones in this race though. King edward might be the plan for this guy. R13 - PERSIAN - good debut in a 1m 4f 3yo up maiden, definite place claims, course is a unknown though. R14 - GREAT BRITAIN - running in the Dante for the prize money, with the Kentucky Derby being run in same week, i reckon he could sneak a place in what could be an unusually weak derby trial. R16 - MAYOR OF ABERDEEN - 1m 6f is his trip but Group 2 might be a class above, looks like a big handicap player further on in the season. R17 - FLYBEFOREBUY - 2 respectable efforts in listed and group 1 company, if she gets the run of the race she could win. R22 - DUNFERMLINE - very likeable mark, 2m is a bit too far, but a massive chance given how low her mark is. R24 - SHORT RUN (NB) - ran well last time out, only gone up 3lbs, better ground this time around, will run a big race. R25 - YANGA MBIWA - 87 looks a good mark, 6f should suit, could run well, bit of an unknown quantity. R31 - TULLAMORE MCGREW (NAP) - think hes well handicapped, and fully expect him to win and still be competitive in the Royal ascot 1m 4f handicap for 3yo.
