 Re: Week 3 Weather
I think the reason your praising her is to ensure I keep her in the race and ensure a fast pace- am I correct?

Higher Lady (ubar02) Rating 81 Early leader in maiden outing at Spring Cup but faded badly in the end. If she can keep up the pace without flagging then could surprise but unlikely to be more than pacesetter. How am I praising her? . I thought I was being brutally honest. Faded badly.. unlikely to be more than pacesetter. Actually with regard to pace I'm not too concerned either way. If there's pace my horses will keep up and if there isn't well I breed all of mine to have a turn of pace running for home . The more important factor for me is the ground and it's good/firm this weekend at Newmarket so it's looking good!

 Re: Week 3 Weather
Actually looking at the ratings.. Ubar's horse has changed from 81 down to 74 . Considering I wrote that yesterday prior to the change, I might have been a little less forthcoming had I been writing off the new rating mark . As for surprises I hope so . I don't think I'm the favorite in the 1000 Guineas. Could make a better case for the 2000 but even so it was a close run thing last time around and the 2000 guineas trial from week 1 was a poor showing from Mayin. If he has another poor run he's definitely not winning the Guineas.

 Re: Week 3 Weather
Reduced rating is due to her last run, more of an experiment really over 6f. Back to her preferred distance now. By 'praising' I meant how you were saying you don't think she'll come last and asking me if she goes on g/f etc. Perhaps 'showing an interest' would have been a better way of putting it. I just wondered if you were keen for me to keep her in or not. She loves newmarket though and after seeing whether it was because she didn't stay over 7f by trying her over 6, I'm confident the step up to a mile will only improve her.

2000 G heres the way i see it Mayin should do well and would be my pick fast ground may have gone against Zarlema but will be finishing strongly Tafaool needed fast ground or would have struggled to stay the trip could be a big player biggest threat to Mayin Deli Athena is a unknown quantity shot sunday & Argumental could get outpaced but respected a few below here off nice handicap mark i would have kept them for r.hunt cup A M Brass Target wannabe 88 Patriarchal giddy 85

 Re: Week 3 Weather
The Guineas are the most open of all the G1's that will take place this season. There are several trainers in with a decent chance. I dont think I have any chance in either this week and Im not sure Bobs Bits should even be running. Im pretty sure though that her and Shot Sunday will be two of those out at the transfer window.
Id narrow it down to A M Lilac Rose, Ashjaan and Argentum. I wouldn't back mine at 1000 and I cant have Hatasa either. Sorry, Andy. Green Bessie would be a bet at a big price for me as well. I've uploaded the wrong filly and colt for 1m.
The 2000 will there be any pace? If not it will be a lottery. If there is then Mayin has to be fav but again there are three or four others who could win. Wont be mine though.

 Re: Week 3 Weather
There will be pace in the 2000 I think, not a lot in the 1000, few people saying ground to quick for Zarlema, not sure why, good ground horse who goes on anything. If he isnt too far back early and challenges at the right time he will go close. Maybe handles soft better than some of the others but im not worried about good to firm.

 Re: Week 3 Weather
Dubawi Heights should be up with the pace in the 1000 guineas so mine should guarantee a little pace I think. Maybe pinch it or maybe get picked off. I know which is more likely haha
