Post Triple Crown Woes
17 seasons in and I've had six shots at the American triple crown. Six failures including one injured before the Belmont. I even beat myself with one of my own horses too.

Post Re: Triple Crown Woes
It's always the Belmont. Never the other way around. I had one who won the first two but didn't stay it out, and then I thought I'd have it the other way around when I lost the Kentucky derby by a head after getting caught on the line, then won the Preakness and the derby, and then he underperformed in the Belmont. I think I hadn't given him enough rest, as when I next raced him after a bit of rest in the Grand Prix de Paris he romped home, but then underperformed in the king george.

In my case my breeding line starts to become less effective at 1m-3f. 1m-4f is really pushing it and it shows its ugly head every running of the Belmont.

In my main game( my US only Game) I've decided to introduce some British Stallion's/Mares into it because the game doesn't have enough stamina based horses. I'm going to breed my speed based US horses to my Stamina based british Horses.

Chocolate Mocha looks like the one to be on. Did it ever stand at stud?
