It's no burden.

Question: Would you guys prefer the graded handicaps have a different color coding than the straight graded stakes? Or can I make grade 3 hcp's same color as the straight grade 3? And so on.

Does every chase race have "chase" in the name? Are there any chase races without "chase" in the name?

Are there only two types of races? Hurdles and Chase? Or three - Hurdles, Chase and ???

Yeah I would be nice to have different color for graded handicaps and a different color for the regular graded races..

I do not know about the chase races hope someone will reply

I think its hurdles, chases, and bumpers which are flat races also known as NHF..there are also novice chases and novice hurdles..

Hope some of that helps..

I think you are doing a great job Sirius on the schedules I see you highlight the races which says Chase on them but there are races in the schedule like the Badger ales trophy which is also a chase but it does not say chase in the title Great job though

Hi great job by the way let me help you a little..this is what leonvr said about the nh schedule when people were asking about which is hurdle or chase.

"in the race type field (the field next to race grade)
All hurdles start with 2
All chasers start with 3
All flat races start with 1"

So when you look at the nh schedule look for the numbers and you will know which is which.
I really love the job and all the effort you are putting in to make it easy for us trainers to plan our horses races and how you can plan for many weeks ahead and be very organized..
I hope that info will help you with the chasers, hurdles, and bumpers..

Post Re: Final Flat Schedule
Some posts got deleted.

Week 1 needs another maiden over 12f, possibly for fillies and to make the exsisting one for colts.

Week 2 had some small fields though there were a few horses still entering maidens or even listed/group races with marks under 75. Also maybe needs another 20f maiden instead of the 18f as there is an 18f maiden in week 3.

Week 3 Had the ponte marathon which was hard for horses to qualify for being over 21.5f when only one 20f maiden so far.

Week 4 has three 10f handicaps. 0-90 3yo, 0-110 3yo and a 0-110 2+. One should be removed or moved to week 5?

Week 7 has three group races over 12f and two handicaps over 7f+a G2 over 7f.

Please feel free to comment as the season goes by. There is a lot of improvement needed. So far so good and big thanks to doc for doing the handicapping.
