Will be dropping him back in distance. Polar Calatagan WILL beat Daring Truth, ignore his first run at Newmarket, hates the track and runs like a Donkey. Very excited about a new miler and another 1m4f horse to be uploaded in the window. I think it's virtually impossible for a horse to go unbeaten in the league without heavy protection from the trainer. Trialling over different ground and courses throw up different results, not wildly different but enough to change the winner. As a trainer with no horses in the Guineas i enjoyed the races. Do i think Bob Dylan will win another 1m G1, no. BUT, this is nothing to do with the horse, it's the track. He looks like a brilliant 7f horse and i expect him to win the G1 7f's. I could be wildly wrong but Newmarket is like racing a furlong shorter. I'm sure i'll get proved wrong on this but it's my theory. Well done on all the winners lads. As soon as the results came out the debate about front runners versus hold up horses started. Experienced trainers questioning their breeding tactics.... great stuff. I think the reaction was hilarious. My personal opinion is that every race which my horses do not win are complete farces!

Mine run like that and will just start pulling out more and going further away. You will see in the longer trips. They out and out stayers. 2m2 is actually a bit short for both Mountain Rescue and Confederate Fatale. You may find yourself further behind over the extra 2 furlongs. Maybe Heroic Quest can get into a handicap none of mine qualify any more That comment backfires a bit when confederate fatale is rated 109 and heroic quest 114.

Thought Heroic Quest would have been up to winning off a big weight because Keith Beaky's horses will be hard to beat in the group races.

Mine was the closest of all and she will cope with a stronger pace.
I am still unable to enter higher lady in race 5 at the curragh she should be eligible but it says she isn't.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
The question is why your horses not running just as fast/faster at 3. I know you've been working out on maxxing potential from your previous posts on the forums. So why are your 3 year olds not running faster given the weight advantage? I know that my 4/5 year olds can't compete given the added weight. So what am I doing that's different and why does everyone keep saying the 4/5 year old versions are better. I don't understand that.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
none of the horses running those times have hit the racetrack until 5yo i am mainly working on finding a bumper horse which effectively are 1milers on flat hope that explains it i'm killing 2 birds with the one stone by the way its not working LUFTAZA is killing his progeny so far in trials i mean 6 or 7 lengths ahead of them but he is producing good milers

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
what a small world i am breeding 8f handy horses too.. I have took your advice andy from the breeding guide post you made and was lucky to find a max potential 8f gamebred stallion i raced him for a few races and he is amazing runs handy and kills all the other gamebreds.. I have bred him with my other 8f handy horse Blazer Stallion and they produce great offspring all run handy and can beat my current league team ck times.. Just amazing that how my times improve just from breeding from a gamebred horse when my other horses our so many generations in and yet i have bred with this gamebred and the offspring can actually beat my many generation horses.. thanks for sharing some breeding tips andy..

You're welcome look forward to racing your new team soon! And actually I am breeding whatever takes my interest at the moment.. it's just Matt made an observation to me in an email and I tried it out. Looking at the last week I've bred a little of everything but the 8f horses were really an eye opener.
