Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
After just using standard breeding using no particular ideas or reason for selecting horses I'm going to use some of the suggestions out there. Maybe I'll get an accepted guineas winner lol

http://sopl.info/tom11/view-races.php?l ... eek=4&r=28Lots of entries but no pace. Still think Feat Ping should be odds-on. Elsewhere I dont really fancy my chances in the classics in any country and Go Morning will find the mile at Newbury too short. Get It Bits N Bobs should be fav in the Ganay but Im concerned about the soft ground. Pinks For Girls again should be fav but I think im going to transfer him out after week 5 as he's been disappointing really. A bit like last week where I didn't expect much so I hope for some nice surprises again. I look forward to seeing if Yima can catch Celebrate. Good luck lads.

Trainers were disappointed with the pace of the race, but most of those who were are experienced league trainers and they should have known this happens. Even in the G1's. I myself have Feat Ping who is the best 2m4 horse in the league. However I am already starting to think that come the Gold Cup at Ascot there will be a lack of pace. I have to grudgingly accept this. But I wont try to take anything away from the winner should I get beat. I will probably point out the lack of pace made it a false race but thats as far as I'll take it. Good luck for the rest of the season. Oh and by the way...... We're coming to get Bob at the Curragh!!!!!!!

WK4 R17 Zetland Gold Cup Handicap
I really like Easy Sunshine's chances in this race. He made up good ground in his only start against GoGo BNB who went on to win the Kentucky Derby. This race is brimming with speed. The weight break and firmer surface surely will help.

I know I was a lucky winner but after a good run when not staying in Dubai I hoped for a good run. Hopefully the pace will be week at the curragh aswell. But a lot of my horses win lots of group 1s over a mile and 1mile 2furlongs. So seeing him pull out more when challenged wasn't surprised. I do know with my standard breeding technique and the tips given hopefully I can strengthen my team next season if not this season in the window.

That's what makes the league interesting, u might have the best horse but u might not get the race to suit.

Or breed horses that make the race suit them.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
Breed even pace horses-that's the best type, most tractable. Unfortunately my higher lady setting a good pace only suited the others, an it killed her.

I have bred him with my other 8f handy horse Blazer Stallion and they produce great offspring all run handy and can beat my current league team ck times.. Just amazing that how my times improve just from breeding from a gamebred horse when my other horses our so many generations in and yet i have bred with this gamebred and the offspring can actually beat my many generation horses.. thanks for sharing some breeding tips andy.. This is what I like to hear. How much better are the new horses, Keenan? That gamebred improve has improved my times by .5 in some races matt..just amazing that a gamebred has improved my times and its offspring can beat my many generation horses.. I also found a nice 27 G1 gamebred stallion in the breeding barn that has two track time records in my game..i have made a copy of that save with him in the breeding barn.so hoping i can bred from him again if i want to..his offspring also can beat some of my many generation horses..what i am having touble finding is a max potential gamebred filly or mare.i am still searching..

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
best chances of the week are :
Fugitive Motel : I was tempted to enter her in the Henry II Stakes but I think she will get her group 1 win in the Coronation
Supply Train : Goes in the Henry II Stakes. Should be thereabouts but not as good as Fugitive Motel over 2m
Confederate Fatale : He qualifies for handicaps but his targets have always been group races so will sacrifice his mark Will probably lead if there is no pace
Northern Canyon. A revelation at home since been dropped in distance. Might cause a surprise. very capable of going start to finish
Not sure where I stand with my juveniles will find out this week
