Can anyone answer me how a horse in the racing game can run 3.30.00 at punchestown and yet can only run 3.50.00 in the race builder and run like it's lost one of her legs.

I've got my race builder working and the results are out of whack with the game, how can that be

It always has and always does. That's why people talk about CK times rather than game times. Most people ignore game times as the race kit works the same way as the CK.

God knows how many hours I've wasted the last couple of weeks, i'm glad my Builder is working, from now on i'm not going to spend so much time in the race game.

If you're talking about NH racing then times aren't very important. It's more important to have good, fast, consistent jumpers.

I wouldn't say that in game times are useless but you have to take into account differing track/wind/pace conditions. CK makes this a lot easier to standardise. However for something like the world records thread where essentially all the records are set on Epsom on hard going and with multiple runners of your own in the race where the pace is fast then that too is a reflection of whether your horses are going faster or not. If the times are tumbling then that's a good indication that your breeding is working. However you'll still have to test in CK to find the best horses as horses that are the best in game may not be the best running in CK.
