Post I'm sure you've heard this question 1000 times
Hi Guys

As the subject says, I'm sure this question has been asked plenty - but hopefully you can help me.

I've just purchased SO5 after having S04 for a few years now and have built up 435 million Pounds plus a massive breeding setup, so not too keen to start all over again.

Is there anyway I can import my S04 horses into S05 ?

Cheers

Hopefully in SO6 we can import the save files from SO5, maybe Mark could give us an answer about this question.
I play SO3 a lot and couldn't get into SO4 because of this problem, managed to get into SO5 better because of the Mods but this is for me a defo for SO6.

If I'm honest I wouldn't like the option to carry it over from a previous game, otherwise you just get complete domination in the league, the ones on top now would always have an advantage and new players would constantly be playing catch up, the way it is everyone gets to start from the same point and its more competitive.

I agree with Ubar, though not really because of the league. The top people will always be top, but the league is much more transparent now. But I think it is nice to have a fresh start. Also imagine the crashes and angry people, I can't really see the point if I'm really honest. You can always breed great horses again and I think I can't bear to leave a game behind, but an hour or two (ten... ) on the new game and I find I am very attached to it.

Also having to start again means it is a new challenge as well, as I'd imagine forever beating the game horses would get tedious and boring.

Have to agree with Ubar & Cat
I Know where Kevin is coming from he is not interested in the lge and would like to bring his horses over
but everyone starting from scratch is a very good thing for the lge
it makes it more open

Depends how quickly you play the game. I'm in agreement with Kev about this, because I play really slowly, watching every single feature race, and every single race with one of my horses in it, as a result, I am only in 2014 in my main game, having bought SO5 when it was first released. (I think Kev plays in a pretty similar way to me). So, for those of us who play this way, and don't bother with the league this request would be quite a different matter, and wouldn't lead to domination from day one.

Yeah I play it like Graham I am slow at playing but I like it that way. Maybe Mark could introduce an option for both league and non-league players where those that don't enter the league can have the option of carrying forward their horses from SO5 to SO6 and those that play in the league can't. Mark could introduce something along the lines of what he does now by knowing if your horses in the league are imported from other players' games so maybe he could have something that tells you if your horses are from SO5 or SO6, so, nobody entering the league can gain an advantage that way everybody is happy. :D
