Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
1 winner in Sports Car winning a handicap at Goodwood like I thought the 15 rise in Haleys Comet was 5 roo many and may need another furlong the way she finished that's now 7 winners on the flat which is 7 more than I expected all Handicap Winners I hope to make it to ten for the Season. Gray

Still waiting for that elusive first flat win, second again. Lovely performance By Shamboo, all roads lead to Flemington. But I see Mr Beaky is keeping Ama Seeing under wraps But a shocking run from Bow tie.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
Matt has the Melbourne Cup well and truly sewn up this season . To even stand a chance you would need to prepare the way he has for that race and unless you have uploaded such a specially prepared horse there is no way of competing as the other obstacle to preventing his horse winning is having horses in your stable of the same calibre as his distance runners. There are only handful of trainers that have a reasonable shot at this as Matt has the best horses at 2m and over. The only way Ama Seeing is not winning the Melbourne Cup is if the horse picks up an injury which would be a travesty as I otherwise it will be the biggest winning margin we'll see this season.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
Good week for me
Starolema got her second Group 1 in the Nassau, she has really surprised me this season as I thought 1m2 would be my weakest distance, she has never been out the 2 and is unlucky not to be 4 from 6. Andys horse came from a mile back and done incredibly well to nearly win.
Celebrate ran a blinder in the King George after being taken on for the lead all the way, the horse who was up annoying her finished stone last 6 lengths behind everything else yet she still managed to put up a fight to Yima on a track that doesn't particularly suit. She got headed and fought back to go a neck up but had nothing left inside the final furlong. PJs ran a cracker in there as well, I thought was that was the race of the week, really strong form I think.
Bonduba won the Gordon, hes a good horse, shame he never ran to his best in the Derby but he will go for the Arc now and hopefully give a good account.
Zarlema was tailed off in the Sussex but it was another throw out Group 1 mile race, the winner is a serious horse but the form in behind is worthless, I put the winner and seconds ratings up and just left the rest unchanged as it was pointless trying to dissect the race. Would be nice to see a truly run 1m Group 1 before the season is out but its probably unlikely.
Went close in a couple of handicaps with Raloonba and Conquistador, no excuses really just unlucky to bump into two slightly better handicapped, Raloonba was up in another stride, she will go for the Group 3 at 1m1 next.
Crucifix ran well in the maiden, just bumped into one of Andys, she deserves a win this year and her last chance might be in the Falmouth.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
The mile races this season have been some of the most unpredictable. Which is good in a way. It's kept things interesting and always nice to see new winners. I'm hoping to win a mile G1 before the end of the season and I think the new uploads are better but having seen the Sussex and Lennox Stakes I'm starting to wonder. Still Goodwood is not a great course for me. It's a course I never test on and given the run in it's easy to get outpaced. And of course starting position is key too (though to be fair I didn't get that bad a draw for the races above) which makes for a lot of variability when you throw in a non pace race. Roll on York .

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
I'm sure my better horses are meaning the rest of my horses are handicapped to the hilt, some I've aimed to high and misplaced and they ran well in good races, but some of the others just aren't getting close in handicaps.
I hope to god I don't have 5 winners now in handicaps....lol
On a brighter note I'm now 4 winners for the season a maiden and 3 group 1's the longer the season goes on the more I wonder how lucky Bob Dylan was although misplaced over 1m6f (don't know how that happend) but I dropped two horse back in trip this one to 6f which didn't work but I found expelliarmus thrived from the front over 1m in the Sussex stakes. Back over 1m2f this week but I feel 1m maybe the future with this one. Dylan Thomas won all my trials before the season and still can't get a win so although they play a part I'm not entirely sure how accurate they. But maybe I'm gutted as that was my favourite horse in game.
Anyway hoping for some better handicap results and another group 1 please.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
Entries for the week. Surprisingly few races - just 9 and 4 of them being 2 year old races. Cierzo trying to get a maiden win. Only 3 G1 races this week. Taran gets to prove his worth against the older horses. Nehebka goes in the Nunthorpe which is a slight surprise even for me and Yima goes in the Yorkshire Oaks vying to be the stables 1st 4 G1 winner this season. Elsewhere Suleviae runs in the Lonsdale Cup. Whilst I'd have preferred Anyigba over the 2m distance, she would have had to carry excess weight and Suleviae has run 2m previously in the league without problems.

Just looking at your list- I have a reach for the stars I might use next season- what happens if there are two horses in the league with identical names?

That would not be a problem I have horse called Night Nurse in the Jumps league i noticed the Other day someone as a horse with the exact name running on the Flat plus the two horse's would have different Lineage the only problem that could occur would be on Leon's end and transporting the horse files and making sure the right horse is with the right trainer and in the right race now if both would run in the same race i wouldn't know what would happen.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
R1 - Infiraad - Just running to get a place really hoping for top 4 place R2 - Qasser - Hoping for a top 3 place R4 - Balloor - won the Sefton in week 3, hoping for a place R6 - Ishraaqat - Not run as good as i thought he would but has finished 3rd twice from 2 runs hoping to win this race R7 - Qilaada - She's been running very well, Hoping to reverse the placings with Lassair here but have to watch out for Olympiarkoz Tornado who has not done much wrong this season. R9 - Hiwaayati - Hoping for a place R10 - Misk Khitaam - As a very good chance of taking this been running well in Handicaps. R18 - Faqaraat - She has the form in the race extra furlong will suit so looking for big run, i will be disappointed if she cant win this maiden. (NB) R19 - Etlaala - Won his 7f maiden beat decent horse of Paul's extra furlong will suit looking for big run. (Nap) R25 - Maimoona - Hoping for a place maybe carrying to much weight in this handicap. R28 - Rasmeyaa - Found trouble 3 times in running last week hoping for better luck this time maybe get a place. R29 - Ejazaat - Ran ok last week to be 3rd, hoping for alot better this week will go close

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
This has got to be the race of the week - Juddmonte International. 3 double G1 winners in Expelliamus, Starolema and Taran. The other runners are no mugs either. Was Not Wrong and Go Go BNB are both G1 winners and Infiraad, Madam Puddifoots and Thursday Angel are accomplished horses who have placed in major races and might have won with a bit of luck. All the major players are here . This should be a cracker. I expect Expelliamus and Madam Puddifoots to lead the way with the others jostling for position behind them. The question is whether Expelliamus can lead from start to finish again or if he gets passed by one of the many other horses who all possess the turn of foot to come from behind. Fitting that this is the 1st race of the week .
