 In game issue?
Hi guys thought I'd have a crack at S05 today. Stopped playing a couple of years back but feeling nostalgic and bored I was browsing the forums and thought Owners Mode looks like something a bit different so I bought the new game and set to work. I'll be honest I did the old straight forecast cheat for a bit of money and maxed everything out on my stable. I started off with one owner, Owen Promotions, and one horse in particular that was quite good. Then a really nice 2yo came following an open day and I couldn't wait to race him but suddenly he disappeared without warning after about 5 days. Feeling confused and cheated I cracked on and was given a really nice 2yo. I won the Criterium and then the Derby with him the next year and the smiley face by the owners name disappeared to be replace by 2 grey boxes. 3 days later my Derby winner was transferred to Charlie Hills. WTF? Playing on regardless I took my best older horse to victory in the Ganay, POW stakes and Eclipse only to get the dreaded grey box in place of the big grin. The next thing I know is that Owen Promotions decided to take all my horses to Lavelle effectively leaving me at game over. Am I doing something wrong?

 Re: In game issue?
If you read owners mode posts you'll find this happens quite a lot. Not a lot you can do, it is the way the game should work to a point. The game is just a bit harsh with it.

 Re: In game issue?
Wait. What? So what's the grey box in place of the face and why does it automatically result in lost horses? I don't understand how that's how the game should work. Fair enough if they weren't winning but come on that can't be right. What do I do with no horses? Seems a tad ridiculous if you ask me.
Thanks for the reply

 Re: In game issue?
Like I said read the other posts. It us supposed to emulate owners taking horses away just because they feel like it, but like I said the game is a bit harsh with it.

 Re: In game issue?
Searching the posts it looks like this has been a problem for some while. Can't believe it hasn't been fixed. I'm bookmarking this thread in case I'm ever tempted to buy S06

 Re: In game issue?
I believe it was supposed to have been "toned down" in a previous patch, but to be honest its still way too unrealistic - taking away a Derby winner for no good reason??!!
