I know I haven't used this exploit and I'm hoping Mark will find the cause for it. And if not then I've shown my horses can benefit too and I'll just have to find some time to breed some more horses for next season. I guess instead of playing less I'll have to find some time to play more for a bit

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
My results for the week. 12 entries - 7 winners. Mostly the poor results were in the 2 year old races (won 2 out of 5). 2 year olds. Wasn't expecting much this time around. 2 of the horses ran outwith their preferred distance (Burijas 5/6f in a 1m race and Lassair 5/6f in a 7f race). Lassair did well to come in 2nd and Burijas just set the pace and finished next to last (how often do i see that?!). Khamsin won a G1 (yay!) and Cierzo finally won a 10f race (his preferred distance). Aganju just never got going. 3 year olds. Heavy at Longchamp and soft at Curragh? My first thoughts were I'll be lucky to win any at Longchamp given that the whole stable was bred for good/better. At any rate Yima/Nehebka/Manavi all came through well for their G1 wins at Longchamp. Ruhanga simply ran out of steam after leading the way for most of the Prix Chaudenay and on better going would likely have led from start to finish. Still waiting for that G1 1m win. Korobona ran Ejazaat close and it's not often I see one of mine outsprinted at the end so well done to Nash. Commiserations to Leon as Northern Canyon set a pace and nearly pulled off a stunning victory. Can't go without mentioning Feat Ping. Another stellar performance in a race without much pace. I can't see this horse been beaten. Probably the one horse in the whole league where there is never any doubt of a win (barring injury) which is saying a lot.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
I said it looked likely you had been using it, I think I said what most people where thinking, I never called you a cheat, using this method is effectively a cheat for the game but there is nothing about in the league rules so it could not be be classified as cheating. It would be out of order in my opinion if anyone was doing it but it would be selfish rather than cheating.
I didnt call anyone a cheat.
I expect to see the exact same next season as we see today, one trainer winning 90% of the group 1s with horses that are in a different league to the opposition.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
Come on Joe.. past is past. Time to move on big man. If Mark can find a solution then great. Otherwise we're all doing a ton of breeding. Next season will take care of itself and I intend to have a full string of horses competing at every distance.
We'll see as to the results. FWIW I don't think one trainer will win 90% of G1s. My hit rate for this season is only 25/40 in those G1s I entered. If you include all G1s so far that's 25/50. I don't think anyone can win 45/50.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
If there was a pacemaker in every group 1, especially the mile races, you would have won close to 90% of races open to 3yo's imo, your not as far ahead with the milers as all the other distances but would still have won most if they were true races. That shows how much of a farce the mile races have been, you have the best horses and havent won one of them yet, two of my group 1s have been in mile races but I still see them as a farce.

Re: UKRA Trainer Talk Reaction & Banter
But that's not the case. You can't argue the races are not truly run . They are what they are. It maybe that for the mile races, we're never going to see the pace needed to have a true reflection of the best horses. That's fine too. If not for one or two trainers having race handy horses at 10f + the pace this season might not have been fast enough for my horses to win consistently. There are only 3 trainers that have horses that consistently set the pace - Mikey1892, Greaver and yourself. Who knows what will happen next season. There might be no horses that set the pace if every thinks going even paced is the best idea in which case the results will be more variable. Or it maybe there will be more pace in all races. We don't know.. but that's the whole point of the league and real life racing too. If anything better adherence to instructions might be one area for Mark to improve as it makes the races much more tactical. Look at the Derby this year - Dawn Approach may have won had there been more pace. I'd love to be able to define the pace of my horses more accurately.
