 Re: aussie breeding
Talk earlier was that US and Ireland exported horses were slower than UK exported horses. Is this true?

Can we keep horses we have bred Aussie then over the last few days as there is no advantage now? i don't see why not as you can breed the same quality horses in UK with new patch now there is no advantage now we all know where we stand

 Re: aussie breeding
So when was Hurricane ted bred? After the patch or before? If after this means we're still going to have to do a whole bunch of breeding.. sigh.. I was hoping to not have to do anything

I only export to ttf.dat at one age and that's at the end of the 2 year old season. Actually it might work as you think Joe which would save me a whole bunch of breeding. We'll have to wait and see and test

 Re: aussie breeding
Yup definitely would want to keep this one Only bred 7 Aussie horses and this one is the pick of the bunch. The others do 2:29:0-1 consistently but this is still the only one to dip under 2:29. Remarkably consistent in that she will clock anywhere from 2:28:9-1 on 7 of 10 runs.

 Re: aussie breeding
Well a quick play around with the new patch shows that it doesn't work on horses already in ttf.dat as far as I can see. So need to get breeding guys

 Re: aussie breeding
So for trainers who were using the glitch what happens to their winners? They weren't cheating?

keithbeaky wrote: So for trainers who were using the glitch what happens to their winners? They weren't cheating? Not sure we will ever know who was using the glitch. The Aussie flags may give a clue as to where they were bred but we can't say if they were then imported into the UK game. Mark doesn't appear to want to look at the files. Certainly my offer remains for him to look at them or indeed any of my old ttf.dat files if he needs to. But the presence of fully maximized bars for the UK horses also shows who was breeding in the Aussie game. Again none of my horses have that fully maximized bar prior to this patch whereas now they do. I think it's a non-issue but others may disagree.
