 Re: Racing Secretary Decision Please....
That's one hell of a long stretch run at Newmarket for the yanks to cope with!

 Re: Racing Secretary Decision Please....
It would've been a race for the ages guys but I see there are four entries for the race. So I'm going to opt instead to put Turning Trix into race 21 - my second option and hope Mikey's pacemaker sets a brutal pace.

Turning Trix has not been entered as it is in another race.
Arkhill is in but will run of a rating of 56 as its maiden run was over 7f

 Re: Racing Secretary Decision Please....
Leon he's never had 56.
He ran early on this season over seven furlongs, that was a mistake because at that time I didn't have my CK working and so I never knew what distance my 2yo's wanted. It was only after week 4 that PJ said I would need it that I decided to crash my game and start from the beginning. I then found out that that he wanted 1m2plus.
He ran last week of 35 and finished second over 1m1 furlong and he's now got 51.

 Re: Racing Secretary Decision Please....
Its the penalty for running outside the distance rules. The run over 7f gave him a lower rating than he should have had. If you not happy I can scratch him. I did say that horses outside the distance rules will run with a penalty in this race.

I did say that horses outside the distance rules will run with a penalty in this race. I don't get it, I ran him over 1m1 furlong last week so why wasn't he penalised last week???? The rules say u are not allowed to run more than 2 furlongs outside his best race and his best race was last week. There was no long distance races for 2 yo early this season, so what was I suppose to do NOT run him till the end of the season. I thought we put our horses in the league to run them. So are u calling me a cheat then??????

 Re: Racing Secretary Decision Please....
listen mate I don't need this. The horse is scratched, The rules are clear 2 furlongs either side of the horses best MAIDEN run which was over 7f. The horse can run in any race from 5f to 9f.
The horse is not eligible for a 10f race and I have scratched. Thats it.
I was going to make an exception for this race but we will follow the rules as I don't have time to be involved in arguments

 Re: Racing Secretary Decision Please....
Rules were set out at start of season we were going to make an exception but i told Leon i would be concerned about this been thrown back in our faces after the race and it could get very very messy none of us have time for needless & pointless arguments and i could see that coming a mile off eg a horse we allowed in won a trainer who had a legitimate horse was beat on the line would not be happy so it just became a no win situation bending the rules
i apologise for the inconvenience but if we bend rules now where does it end

Rhodes there was never enough two year old races, the first mile race for two year olds was week six, what's the point of having horses if u cant run them.
