existing horses run for 8/9 seasons keep all with max potential then test as a whole keep the fastest bin the rest repeat and rinse check out andys thread(akhc) he has pointed me in the right direction I also save my best 2yo (max only) into a different folder ready for testing.

ok so the 300 you are going to test are already exported as 3yos?..do you save them to ttf first or are they still in your ttf?..

yep all are 3yo now and only the best are saved but sometimes a superstar 2yo in ck doesn't seem to be as quick as their counterparts when they reach 3yo and all are saved when I have about 15 horse from the stallion I will test loads and not only at the preferred distance but also at 1f either way(have found some very quick 7f horses 1.22.7 which I will put with my milers)I have also bred down from milers and up from milers just to keep lines fresh.

thanks for the replies mate sorry for all the questions..
I have a lot of good horses on my ttf file that I saved at end of 2yo season.the problem is when I have to export them at 3yo is going to be a hassle I would have to transfer 6 in then export then the next 6 transfer export etc. each game season..

also don't worry about asking questions someone will always answer its only really this season ive learnt how to play for the league (thanks andy) ive been playing this game since its inception and had games save with 100s and 100s of seasons and bred with a scattergun approach ie 50-60 2yo in each game which ultimately weakens your lines not strengthen them great looking horse in game don't always produce great ck horses I had one with 101 G1s and it couldn't catch my nan in ck..

thats what I have been doing not with exactly 5 mares to 1 stall..sometimes 2 stall to 4 mare etc. I have started with new gamebreds and have about 50 milers 2yo that can beat my current league horses when i trialled in ck and I saved them to the ttf..have not tested the 3yos yet..

Don't be afraid to breed some of your best horses from previous games to your new ones you've just found. The key is to breed a bunch of horses and then test in CK and find the best and then start a new breeding cycle. My previous point about finding the right fillies/mares still stands though. It very much is having both good colts and fillies but the way the game is good colts are much easier to find. Find some good game fillies and breed more homebreds that are good/better and you'll be laughing.

As for 5f times at 2 year old at Ascot. I pulled out some old pics I saved and the best I can do for that is round about 59.60-65 ish. Quicker if I get a high wind that's favorable but mostly around that at best.

yup I have been breeding my old horses with new horses..Breeding old school with new school..my times are improving greatly thanks to your guide..those game fillies are damn hard to find for me..

I have bred earlier two gamebred 5f horses together the stallion had max potential and the gamebred mare I have no idea because she was in breeding barn.. they produced a filly that hit 59.70 at ascot in ck so was happy about that was just seeing if that was a good time because maybe you guys were hitting 58 at 2yo..
