 Re: UKRA Flat G1 Winners
I could never really get a handle on the 2yos outside of the handicappers as you can count on one hand how many of the group races were truly run. I suppose I could have ran the races in my own ck with pacemakers but it would have been pointless as I can only give a rating on what they do in league races. Even with pacemakers I think the 2yo races would still produce a lot more variable results than the 3yo+ races would have, might have something to with the ck problem where they run faster when set to open.
I wouldn't be against setting 2yos to auto handicapping as it felt like a waste of time.
Rockonic won 2 group 1s but im pretty sure he is nothing special and wouldn't get near any of Andy's in truly run races.
I have no idea who the best 2yo was.

 Re: UKRA Flat G1 Winners
They were a lot harder to judge and I'm actually not even bothering with them next time around. I wouldn't sell Rockonic short as I don't think my 2 year olds are anything special either. It's nice to have some wide open races even if handicapping is a nightmare. Don't see why they couldn't be set to auto handicap. Watching all those races and having to set the marks is quite an achievement in my book!
