 Re: Season's End - Feedback
keithbeaky wrote: No what im saying is that we dont want loads of trainers giving horses one run and then keeping those horses for the G1 handicaps. I did that because I targeted the richest races to have any chance of beating Andy in the money list, it was my only chance. Thats the only reason I did it. I didn't break any rules and raced Ama Seeing and Acca Pulco at their best distances, 2m and 1m6. Ama Seeing would have got beaten in plenty of other 2m races off 87. Im sure people will find that hard to believe but look at Acca Pulco's other handicaps runs.
Oswald didn't shoot JFK btw. who did??

 Re: Season's End - Feedback
from a programming aspect we will need just restrict a horse to a minimum number of runs. 3 or 4. Some horses are just better at certain courses so if a trainer is lucky enough to find these then good luck to them

 Re: Season's End - Feedback
I agree, should be at least 2 runs before any handicap for non maiden winners, I said that at the start of the season that I wanted two runs so I could adjust any obvious mistakes. That said, the horses who ran in the finals had all shown their hands apart from Ama Seeing, who Matt has pointed out anyway, would still have kept a low mark had he run on uk tracks as proven by Acca Pulco who looked well exposed during the season, but was extremely well handicapped once given the chance to run on the tracks he was bred for. So its not a huge issue, everyone played by the rules and I was happy with the results in the Finals as the placed horses were rated from the high 100s to the low 80s and for me that shows I done a decent overall job, there was no weight group favored.

 Re: Season's End - Feedback
I think the H'capper did a fantastic job, all my horses were rated what they should have been rated.
Well done.
