constuction kit. Its the race builder in the game. You use this to view league races and also test your horses to see what your best horses are.

If memory serves Joe you are about 2 seconds off what I can regularly clock over that distance with my 3yo's - so not miles away.

Jalupen's working towards breaking 1:10 gave me an idea for this thread. I've got a list of times that I've been trying to beat for the last 5 months or so. One has been reached but the others remain to be broken and I thought I'd post here and give everyone a chance of having the glory of breaking them. Please note these are the actual times run by the winner as opposed to approximate times for all runners.

At Ascot (usual conditions - good going 3 yr old + and OPEN i.e. males carry a 3lb penalty) and you have to do it at least twice :) with the same horse or 3 times with any number of horses. No freak times allowed here :P.

5f - 57:50
6f - 1:10:00
7f - 1:22:50
8f - 1:38:50
10f - 2:07:00
12f - 2:32:00
14f - 3:04:00

At Newmarket (usual conditions - good going 3 yr old + and OPEN i.e. males carry a 3lb penalty)
8f - 1:37:00
10f - 2:05:50

At Epsom (usual conditions - good going 3 yr old + and OPEN i.e. males carry a 3lb penalty)
12f - 2:29:00 (Done this one but if anyone else has done this post and show it off!)

At Doncaster (usual conditions - good going 3 yr old + and OPEN i.e. males carry a 3lb penalty)
14.5f - 3:05:00

Just wondered how these are going?

Duke has done Epsom as I recall.. maybe Ascot too?

FWIW here are the ones I have managed (in bold)

5f - 57:50
- once below though many 57:50ish times
6f - 1:10:00 - best is 1:10:05
7f - 1:22:50 - easily
8f - 1:38:50 - twice with different horses
10f - 2:07:00 - no chance :) best I can do is 2:07:20ish
12f - 2:32:00 - lots of these
14f - 3:04:00 - lots of these

At Newmarket
8f - 1:37:00 - both male/female
10f - 2:05:50 - once but 2:05:50ish is regular

At Epsom
12f - 2:29:00 - several horses

At Doncaster
14.5f - 3:05:00 - quite a few

See you all in the league :)
