 Winter Derby
Hi Leon,
I thought it was strange that no horses were declared for the only group race in week 1 so I tried to enter myself.
For some reason I cannot enter any horses into this race.
Is this because no horse can start out in group company? If so, this probably needs to be looked at else this will be a void race.
Thanks

Quote: Is this because no horse can start out in group company correct. I have changed the race code for now. Will change it back after entries close. And entries can now happen. This race can't be in week 1 next season

 Re: Winter Derby
Only 2 entries for winter derby so far. It may be a good chance for some black type / prize money so might be a good idea to enter a horse

Quote: Perhaps the trainers that have runners in it frighten the others off There is a lack of flat trainers this season and with stable size of 20 it will mean lots of races will have little runners. NH is fine as the stable size is 30.

 Re: Winter Derby
I said age's ago that 4 yo+ races would have to be watched because when mark changed the game it was easier to get full 3yo's and u wouldn't need to wait till they were 4 or 5 to get a full bar.
Perhaps there should have been a rule where u had to have a certain amount of older horses.

 Re: Winter Derby
My older horses are still better than my 3 year olds. Depends on your breeding lines. Most of my NH stable is 6 as that is when a lot of them get the full potential bar

Just not Group 1's. last season when I realised the the group races are on the same race code it was either no group races or all and the vote was none. I can possibly change the codes temporarily for group 2/3 races in week 2 and 3 dependent on support to allow entries into these races for the flat
