I think it was a good idea keeps things ticking over nicely will be good next season when Royal Ascot can be spilt along with Yorks Meetings over three days.

i have really enjoyed the new format think that 10 is spot on and the speed which tom is updated makes it even better also gives more time for some previews which imo enhances the racing which sadly due to time restraints went missing at the end of last season

Oh so close today, 4 runners and all with three quarters of a length of the winners.
Drum Taps 2nd ran much better, well pleased. Marling 2nd beaten but was oh so close Kingmambo 3rd beaten in a photo Miraculous Miss a fast finishing 3rd but what a terrible ride
Well pleased with all my runners.

Absolutely delighted with day 2's results.
TAEKWONDOH - Won the Further Flight, surprised she won this seeing as her distance is 1m 5f, but she saw out the trip really well. 1m 4F mares groups 1's will be the target for her this season.
YARPI - 2nd in the Guineas Trial Maiden. Was really impressed with how he finished the race, flying at the end to lose in a photo finish. 1m at Newmarket should be right up his street, and excited that i could have a genuine classic contender.
PELACACCI - 4th in 1000 Guineas Trial Maiden, she loves to lead, surprised that she wasnt able to do so. plugged on well for 4th and could have an outside chance at Newmarket.
Thanks to all who run the league, truly great work!

Conrad Ivan wow what a performance winning by a length in the coventry maiden really pleasing hope he is g1 quality Great Lady big surprise she did not trial that great so was not expecting anything but she powered down the straight to take the albany maiden to make it a fabulous 2yo double

Brain Tree 3rd in the leger maiden the race card says he had no more so doubt over him staying the longer trip in the st leger depends on his rating maybe a handicapping future for him Gold Lady oh wow ran a stinker only beat 1 home so definitely handicapping from here on not sure what to male of her maybe 1 to dump in the window Hurricane Flyer ran a stormer really pleasing ran on strongly and will be much better over further target will be the 1m2f g1 in france at end of season pleasing run think behind leons 2yo
so all in all a great day & a fairly decent start to the season chuffed
well done to the winners and placers thanks to the team great weeks racing

Massive win from Careless Whisper! Turns out my stayers are as good as ever, Already had a 1st and a 2nd in previous Gold Cup's at Ascot... This could potentially be another to head there!
Double Dragon performed as expected finishing 5th, couple of ok runs from the others. Some good handicap types lurking among my string i'd imagine but Gentoo and Careless Whisper look head and shoulders above the rest and should contest G1's

R22 Skye Blue (4th) - Good effort considering I wasn't sure about the trip. Might be better over 2m. R23 Muffin The Mule (10th) - Drawn in the car park so was never going to be competitive. 20/1 for the Oaks is a terrible price, I wouldn't back her at 200/1 even if she was allowed to start a week before everything else. She's more likely to be contesting h'caps than pattern contests. R29 Happy Ranger (6th) - Found the trip too short. With a bit of luck I might be able to find a h'cap or 2 for him over 10f.
Well done to all winners and placers this week.

						Good day for me 2 wins / 3 2nd s / 2 3rds from 7 starts
Race 21 Certainty ( 3rd ) led for along way. Will hold in some of the big races. On target for the gold cup
Race 22 Palace Stranger (2nd ) The extra 1/2 furlong will be what he needs in the St Ledger. However on this run its obvious he has no chance in the derby
Race 25 Stranger (2nd ) Arrived too late. Although the winner was too good in any case
Race 26 Spin a Web (1st) Needed every inch of the distance to just get up. Better over 6f so promising run
race 27 Sequence (3rd ) Finished strongly needs further
race 28 Night Dragon (2nd) Pleasing run for my miler. Will be much better over further
race 30 Shadow Gathering (1st) Won with a lot in hand better over 10f but ok over a mile. Going to be hard to beat
It looks like my juveniles are very strong which is encouraging. Congrats to all the winners

Worst day of the lot & i thought it was going to be the best day how wrong
R23- Mozamyer (2nd) Happy with him nice start, next up will be Newcastle (1m5f) Wk2 R24- Makhfar (1st) Nice Performer got the hang of it in the final furlong will go to Dubai 5f R26- Al Muthanaa (2nd) Disappointed with her thought she would go win the race after going to the front but stopped will go to another maiden now R27- Mutaraadif (4th) VERY VERY VERY disappointed with him ran nothing like he can, another performance like that he will be off to the Butchers after Wk5 R30- Tajaaweed (3rd) Another I'm disappointed with but he is a front runner & was ridden in mid div today, i hope he's not another going to the Butchers
Well done to all Winners & Placers & Thank u to all staff for running the races Roll on Week 2 i want to see how many will get the knife
