not a bad start to the season for me with 26 runners making the first 5 so far although would like a few more winners.
week 2 round up-

Blow(named after the Movie)- 1st-undefeated after 2 runs and looks a very classy bumper prospect
Blazing Knight- 4th-out of my good stayer west hill dancer and is in the same mould, should be very consistent
Champion-4th- my biggest disappointment last season as her jumping was terrible but a good solid run to start the season in the charlie hall
Fondmort- 1st - was suprised to see this boy winning after smashing a fence at a crucial time and with no early pace in the race he showed a great turn of foot, should be a novice contender 2m5-3m
Majestic missile-1st- didnt expect her to win as i thought my 2m4 hurdlers were very week but she battled very well
octopussy-2nd- was an absolute freak stayer on the flat in game and looks like she is going to be a solid performer this season. ran well this week but she wants it a bit softer
Red Warrior- 7th- another poor performance and i expected better from this boy but i think he could pick up a big handicap somewhere

That bumper horses is a mighty fine looking horse. He lives up to his name, he blows them away.

Some Lovely Performances and some poor ones.

Lady Rebecca unplaced, trainers puzzled by that run :?
Brief Gale 3rd, all the talent in the world and yet no jumping ability. What a waste.
Gaye Brief 1st, lovely performance.
French Ballerina 4th, I think will run well in h'caps all season long.
Mystic Music 1st, A Bit of a surprise.
Dublin Flyer 1st, flew from the back of the field.
Lady Rosanna unplaced, much better than that. Will step up in trip.
Berude Not Too 1st, hopefully will challenge in the big Novice Hurdles.

First season in NH.
Very surprised how well I have done so far. 3rd in the wins list and 7th in the money list.

5 wins and 6 second places. The best win was a G3 h/cap. The other wins were in minor races, but still proud of my stable.

My best horses all go in 16f to 20f races. Distance horses are a poor bunch.

I am busy trying to breed some distance horses to upload in wk 6. The only problem is that I do not see many races that horses uploaded after wk 5 can run in.

2 cracking races this week.

Ancient of Lore, Greenbank Park and Another Champion in the G1 Jnwine.com Champion Chase.

Vertigo, Alarica, Monaazalah and Dublin Flyer in the G1 Haye Jousselin Chase.

Both should prove to be great Gold Cup trials.

Some doubts over Alarica on the heavy ground but her class should see her through it. Another Champion could reverse form with Greenbank Park given his jumping holds up. Force Hero who is 2 from 2 will run at fairyhouse and not auteuil due to the heavy ground. I think Soviet Star will go close in the 3 mile handicap chase and Space ship in the bumper, doesn't have blow to take on this time round.

Greenbank Park is a doubtful starter, he trailed there in the week with my best horses and ran poorly. Will trial him again today and he needs to show more to go.
