How far did Rapid Headway get beat?

Just done my dec's for next week and it's going to be a very quiet week, only 5 runners.

Tonic won the Group 1 Dubai Duty Free for me last week. The race came up weak and I took advantage of it. I was surprised at the performance. I think she's Group three at the most so I entered her in this weeks Group 3 Dahlia Stakes.

Is it unsporting of me to drop into a group 3 off a Group 1 win? Just curious if anyone objects.

You will get a G1 penalty so it isn't unsporting at all, infact you are at a large disadvantage dropping back down in grade really but obviously depends on opposition.

Yeah, there is that. Looks like another relatively weak race at this juncture.

I applaud u Sirius I wont enter any of mine with a penalty much too hard as u probably be running against horses u beat by less than a length think only andys horses are capable of that good luck though

I could hear your laughing when you typed this. If the race stays short on runners and Tonic gets to coast on an easy lead instead of breaking badly and having to rush up to the front she should make a race of it even with the weight penalty. Still have time to scratch out...

i think alot of the 4yo races will have smaller fields
alot of people mainly have 3yo

Mine's down to four now. I had to pull Ruby Tiger out, she hates soft ground.

That's what happens when u have no 4yo+. I suppose it's fair for the people who put in older horses.

Well that was a bit of a lesson. Shipped in some horses in after amassing over 400 million in the offline version and threw them straight into Graded races. Needless to say this platform is slightly more competitive

Back to the drawing board and will be entering low MR handicaps for the rest of the foreseeable future.

In my first year last season most of my horses were awful but still managed to win 2 races. This year I've already won a group 3 (very lucky with that mind)

Stick with it and you will win races

Hilton the first season is always a learning season. I had my rookie season last season and i only won three races flat/jumps, and finished last in a lot of races. Learn the first season and by the next season u can compete as long as u put in the time.

U have learned the first lesson, never put u horses straight into Graded races.
