the stat bars of horses have seem to have changed a little from the original Starters Orders game i had way back.

i notice my horses condition bar on auto training has never ever been maxed out its always around 90-95% is this normal?

also besides the condition bar i notice a green bar moves over time. is that wear and tear?
or what does it represent?

i find a horses description say of a 2miler or 3mile preferred distances can be very iffy.

like if it says hes a 2miler i race him and usualy find they prefer maybe 1m4f or 2m4 etc

and even though staminas full bar they may only stay 2m not 3miles!

or speed bars full but the donkey never wins a sprint ! lol

lastnight i went shopping for thorough breds in my main game save and bought up lots the expensive ones spending 1-1.5 million each horse!

god then you see their stats and hope to jaysus they improve alot as they grow! or ill never get me money back on them! only 2 of 8 buys seem to have high potentail bars

im breeding the hell out of percy my 2m champion hurdlers whos 12 now and even thought the mare was a donkey his foals have had wins early on albeit the filly foal took 12 runs before her first win.

is there anyway of knowing if your horse is a chaser or hurdler, im guessing let the best jumpers chase and the fast or sos jumpers hurdle right?

i have a jump breed horse who seems to be only good running the nh flat races

battling qualities.

wed all love to have it maxed on our group 1 horses but has anyone ever had it high?

so far every top horse ive seen and donkeys all have low battling qualities.

so its not so important then?

i have yet to see any horse with anything higher than realy low battling qualities.

anybody else can varify?

has anybody been able to make or find a horse with more than 5-10% Battling qualities in the Horse Stats Primary Stats? ive never seen more than that ai or player breed.

Yeah, most of my NH horses in the league have about 50% (ish) battling qualities. I have never bred it randomly into my lines, it came from a specific game bred.

k thanks its good to know it can improve and increase. hold onto that breed that does that for ya!

My best jumps horse got between 85-95%. It's tough to find one with battling Qualities but when u find one it easy then to put it in u breeding Program.

Whilst appreciating that you don't want too many horses with high battling qualities, you'd expect a few more in the game than is currently the case.

I have a horse in the NH league called Mr Motivator who has max battling qualities and max potential. I don't have a screen shot of it but this is its sire. It took a while to get max potential and max battling qualities etc, breed about 200+ horses to get the 1 wonder horse.
