Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
I don't know much about horse racing IRL, but someone must have been doing some heavy betting on Air Bermuda in the bumper for her to start off as favourite when Blow had a 3 from 3 record.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
Very good day for me.
2nd in race 21, close run race, just pipped at the post
1st in race 22, a G1 winner, one of the best horses in my stable, hit the front with 3f to go and never looked like losing. He has sired 7 of the horses in my league stable.
7th in race 27, started the race as favourite, but never reached a challenging position, well beaten in the end.
3rd in race 28, a good effort considering she really pefers a couple of furlongs further
2nd in race 30, another good effort, again running 3f below his preferred distance.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
R22 Mr Prospector (3rd) - wants better going and was given a shocking ride. R23 Free Ride (2nd) - much better effort this week in the mud. R24 Golden Mile (9th) - does not stay this far. R25 Supersonic (6th) - ran ok but I think 2m6f is probably as far as she wants to go. R26 Bad Girl (6th) - good run under a big weight. distance was too short as well. R27 Historic (6th) - ran ok but is better over further. R28 Costume Fetish (1st) first run over her best trip and won well. R29 Lone Soldier (4th) - prefers softer conditions so expected him to struggle a bit today.
congrats to all winners and placers.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
Not been a good week for me so far and the defeat of blow was a massive blow for the stable . Was shocked by his performance so ran a few trials and came to the conclusion that on a stiff track he hates to be left on his own in front. He's supposed to be raced handy but has such a cruising speed often ends way up in front. i ran him with no pacemaker and he did the same time as in the race. but then i ran him with some company up front and he equaled todays winning time. with the coming of cheltonian next week and a few of my horses totally disappointing i think reinforcements are badly needed for week 6

Really happy with V for Victory. Won really well although it did help that Greenback Park fell. He doesn't stay 3m2 but on track for the King George
