Just 1 winner today and it was a surprise

Silver Bell winning a Grade 2 Novices Chase I was about to eject this one
Dreadful race by Ned's Dilemma in The Hennessy Beats my other horse Whacky races easily every time the jockey needs a fine and suspension he was tailed off and this horse likes to be handy.

Wow massive surprise that Brownhill Lass won the hennessy. I wish she had given her son( Greenbank Park) some of her jumping ability.

The Rest of my team was awful.

Dublin Flyer ran another shocker, Newnham ran poorly( trainer in my bad books because i forgot about his penalty and wouldn't have run him) and Brief Gale was injured .

I think the computer got a think about my Maid of money, she's been injured the last two races

best day of the season so far for me with 3 winners and 2 2nds

R11 Silent Running (1st) - he's a much better hurdler than chaser but has been a bit disappointing over the smaller obstacles. I was hoping he would run ok but was very surprised to see him win as well as he did.
R12 Bad Girl (5th) - wants further and got outpaced around 4 hurdles from the finish. ran on last 2 furlongs and sneaked into 5th in the closing stages.
R13 Duty Calls (1st) - super effort. led most of the way and stayed on strongly from the last.
R14 Sonic Glory (2nd) - I thought she might win going to the last but got caught by a stronger stayer on the run in.
R16 Out For A Walk (4th) - ran well for a long way and was going as well as anything 4 fences out. weakened out of contention last furlong.
R18 Tiny Feet (6th) - not beaten far but was hoping she would pick up some prize money today.
R19 Northern Soul (2nd) - huge run. I thought she might win jumping the last but winner was too good. my other runner Grecian Urn was pulled up before the 3rd fence.
R20 Penny Pincher (1st) - has been running well and gets my first grade 1 of the season. left in front when the unlucky Green Door fell at the last and managed to hang on.

Say my name was 4th in 2m listed handicap hurdle. Stays on the same mark so looks good to run well again.
Bullfighter finished 5th in the long distance hurdle
Zod ran a cracker to finish 5th in the G1 Morgiana hurdle

I see today's NH ratings have been updated but not yesterday's?
Any news on this ?

My worst day of racing in the season so far.

All my horses except one, ran at the back of the field and made little or no headway at all. The one exception finished 2nd and even he was given a poor ride.

Ah well, there is still next week. Roll on Monday.

May Mist Tear was so close to winning race 21 2m4 Chase Grade 1 was leading till .5 furlongs left then Jupiterjimmy's horse caught up to mine.. Nice horse there Jupiter..

The up's and downs of being a trainer, my best horses all ran yesterday and I was hoping for a good day and only had one good race and yet I looked at todays runners not expecting much and three out of five won. The highs and lows of being a trainer.

Only Royale 1st, couldn't jump a fence last week and yet jumps like a buck this week.
Caroles Clown 1st,im shocked at how well she's run, the first long distance horse I ever breed. I don't have many long distance mares in my breeding barn( her and one other).

French ballerina 0, her form is getting worse.
Kumbi 2nd, I thought he was pulling up at the start he was so far back, ran well to finish second.
Aldino 1st, I didn't think he would stay the distance, over the moon with his performance.

not such a good day today, but still managed to bag 2 winners.

R21 Tumbledown Wind (6th) - ran ok but ideally wants a bit further.
R22 Jupiter Island (7th) - hoped he would improve for a drop in trip. no such luck.
R23 Champagne Diva (13th) - decent 4m chaser in the ck. ran like she barely stayed 3m.
R24 Dynamite (9th) - struggled under a big weight and was well beaten.
R25 Historic (12th) - trip was probably too far but he was beaten a long way from the finish. poor effort.
R26 Tuneless Wonder (1st) - very surprised to win. I thought the soft ground wouldn't suit.
R27 Costume Fetish (F) - tripped over her own feet.
R29 Show Boat (U) - travelled well until about 3 out, then sank without trace. jockey jumped off at the last.
R30 Call The Tune (1st) - made all. back to form after a poor run lto.
R31 Project Rage (4th) - ran ok. just wasn't good enough.

I'm going to sack my trainer, just found out that she's a hurdler not a chaser

Can I enter her in a grade 1 hurdle even though she's never run over hurdles.

yes you can just not a hurdle handicap of any sort

Grade 1 winner with Deportivo and Grade 3 winner at my local track Clonmel, Glad Soviet Star finally showed her true form. Also had a 3rd in a Grade 2 and 3rd in a Grade 3. Force Hero ran a cracker, stayed on too late on ground that clearly did not suit. Good day overall.
