Very Good day for my stable.
  3 x 1sts 1 x 2nd 2 x 4ths
Race 11, Crafty Smile, 1st - a new upload who just made it into my team. Took the lead with 4f to go and stayed on well.
Race 13, Princess Royal, 1st - winner on 2 previous occassions. Jumped strongly and stayed on well.
Race 15, Devonshire Girl, 4th - ran well in my trials and really fancied her to do well. She has only had 2 races finishing 5th & 4th, but both times ran out of steam with 2f to go.
Race 16, Coastal Figate, 9th - started as favourite but was just carrying too much weight. Was only in the race to give him an outing. Not a handicapper. Save him for non handicap races.
Race 17, Handy Lass, 6th - wasn't sure what to expect running in G1 company. Ran well but never looked like challenging the leaders.
Race 18, Hell On Wheels, 4th -won last time out so the handicapper wasn't very generous. Ran well of 2nd top weight.
Race 19, Bright Sky, 2nd - Battled on gamely but was outpaced in the final furlong.
Race 20, Deep Pockets, 1st - another horse who had won before. I thought Pauls horse, Roman Girl Flys, looked a certainty to win before it fell at the last. However, Deep Pockets battles on gamely and just got up.
Congrats to all winners and placers.

Race 11 Humble Spirit (8th) - was hoping for a better run off such a low weight. might be better over slightly shorter. Race 12 Savage Island (5th) - impressive in trials but has been a bit disappointing so far. Race 13 Duty Calls (3rd) - ran well but could have done with an extra furlong or 2. Race 14 Mr Prospector (12th) - too much weight. should have stayed at home. Race 15 Sonic Glory (8th) - had been running really well over hurdles until today. worst run of the season. Race 16 Song And Dance (1st) - great run. I thought something would run her down in the last furlong but she ran on well for once. Lost Patrol (3rd) - another decent effort. not quite good enough today. Race 18 Glint Of Gold (1st) - v. good chaser around 2m5f and expected him to win. Race 19 Project Rage (5th) - solid effort but once again he found a few too good.
Well done all winners and placers.

A mix bag for me but my better horses all ran well.
Queen of Spades 3rd not bad, ran well all season. Mystic Music 2nd back on form so it was good to see. Lady Rosanna 3rd ran well again but im surprised she's not won yet. West Tip 1st back on form but jumping is shocking.

I'm sure every trainer trialled at Cheltenham, and most only picked the best at Cheltenham. Well I know I did.

Bullfighter (16th) - Last to finish, has badly lost his way Silver Instinct (7th) - Faded badly at the end, needs a shorter trip Girl On Fire (9th) - Just not good enough Theodore (9th) - Not a bad run from a long way out of the handicap One World (12th) - Another who does not seem good enough Shine One (9th) - Good horse but just not quite G1 standard Bang Bang Bang (6th) - Good to see this horse show a bit of form again Estoril (9th) - Not good enough in G2 company
Another rubbish day, no prize money at all.
  Well done to all winners
