Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
An ok first day. If any of mine were to get injured it might as well have been the Goodwood Cup. Over after 1f. Congratulations to the winner though, not bad in your first season.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R12- Eshtiaal 5th - Ran a ok race beat by better horses, I thought Catch Me would win but was given a terrible ride hard luck Matt he was the best horse in the race R13 - Ghasabah 1st - Better run than latest will get better bring on Flowing R15 - Badaayer 3rd - Gave the winner 9lb, trainer mess up, should never of run her giving all that weight R17 - Maraffi - 1st Well happy she has won her G1, always getting rubbish rides but today got a great ride R19- Rufoof 2nd - Beat winner 2 out of 2 easy, god knows what happened today, well done winner see u at Newmarket R20 - Damaah 1st - 1m1 filly 1st run of the season won a listed race, uploaded by mistake & never got out of 2nd gear, if Zannaqlaam dont live up to what she can do, then Damaah will go to the Breeders Cup Well done to winners & placers Rufoof to win Cheveley Park by 2 lengths

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Haven't watched the races as I see little point in getting frustrated and annoyed with the fundamental problems with the racekit. How Mark can say he isn't going to look at it is appalling and a big let down for everyone who wants to enter the flat league.
The English Oaks was a fantastic race and is one of only about five races that my horses were in that I class as a true race. Now I'm sure some will take that the wrong way. Bear in mind I lost that race and all I want is the best horses fighting out the finish, not beat after 1f due to the racekit and it's faults. Every week there are four or more races where the race is completely unrealistic and false.
People will say the bad luck will even itself out but I don't think it will nor am I happy to accept that as a response to a major problem with the flat league.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Race 14 Dust Devil (13th) - didn't get the best of runs and despite the lowly finishing position was less than 2 lengths behind the winner. Race 16 Hope Springs (14th) - needs a perfect ride to last home over 1m6f. got anything but today. Race 18 Golden Call (1st) - delighted and v. surprised to win as he hardly ever gets home over 6f in the ck. 2nd season running I've won the Stewards Cup. Race 20 Gold Chain (11th) - solid effort. weakened badly last furlong and will drop down in trip next run. flat season target was to beat last season's total of 4 winners and Golden Call's win in the Stewards Cup means objective achieved. well done all winners and placers

3rd x 2 4th x 1 I would have been Very disappointed/Shocked if Warrior Queen had been beaten. She's never been beaten at Deauville. I've never had a horse dominate like her at a course. Two winners for me today. Knights Baroness won a group three, she's the queen of my breeding so well happy with that.

Newmarket is her second fav course. Her quickest time is 1.10.65 at Newmarket on good ground . Lets hope we get a even/fair race and we find out who's the best out of All/everyones juvenile's.
