The English Oaks was a fantastic race and is one of only about five races that my horses were in that I class as a true race. Now I'm sure some will take that the wrong way. Bear in mind I lost that race and all I want is the best horses fighting out the finish, not beat after 1f due to the racekit and it's faults. Every week there are four or more races where the race is completely unrealistic and false.
People will say the bad luck will even itself out but I don't think it will nor am I happy to accept that as a response to a major problem with the flat league. Matt it aint going to change this season or probably not next season the man is putting it right in SO6 for most of us ok its not ideal but we accept it and take it on the chin and accept what happens happens most are happy to continue under those terms for now those who aren't won't enter and i know a few others have stated they won't enter if it's too frustrating why bother to continue entering and keep coming on here saying the same thing when you I and everybody already knows the score this is not a pop at you far from it but see it as a pointless waste of your time repeating what you said last week you cant push the man into doing what you want its take it or leave it for now we are all in the same boat its be flexible for now or just don't enter its your choice have you tried to contact Mark privately about the situation i will still enter YES i enjoy getting winners but at the end of the day its a bit of fun not life or death could not imagine not being part of it now i got the bug over past 2 seasons

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Paul plus everyone knows what the problems are. I have a plan next season( u got to adapt) or u will be left behind. It might not work but I think it might. I'm going to change my program/breeding for horses over a mile and quarter +, my trialling days are over for those distances and it's about getting the horses that are right for the league. If u watch the races u know what type of horse u need. For me it's not about getting the best or fastest it's knowing u horses in u stable and how they run. And i'll be back next season. If it's good enough for Arnie it's good enough for me.

I know exactly what you mean finding that horse that can adapt to certain circumstances i have already started my search in fact i bought 1 in during the window and he is unbeaten its no longer about times i dont even look at them now i look at trails and see who can do what i am looking for the most frequently its already worked for me P.S i think that unbeaten horse of mine is in for a rude awakening in the King George bit more of a stamina test he could well get collard this week

I don't think you do know what the problems are.
I see most posts as a pointless waste of time but I don't go commenting on them, but thanks for yours, Paul.
I can easily imagine not being part of it and I may just win the Melbourne Cup and that being it this season.
Regards

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Eddie (3rd) - Excellent place in the Group 3. Was given a big lead but still an excellent run Anouchka Cherie (9th) - Decent showing in Group company Monte Carlo (7th) - Finished where she should have really Night Nurse (17th) - Hampered in the final furlong but probably weakening anyway. Better run than the result suggests Sakhir (10th) - Was never likely to figure Pedrables (6th) - A short head away from the money, Ebor is the likely target now Untouchable (18th) - Last, a terrible horse Playmate (13th) - Shaped as if she needed the extra furlong all season and when she gets it she fades badly in the final furlong. Not sure what to do now.
Brilliant to see Eddie run into another place in group company, been a pleasant surprise.
Thanks to the team for running the races

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Montreal (11th) - No chance in G1 company Nivelles (8th) - Excellent run in a G2, maybe there is more to come. Wasn't expected to beat 1 horse home Table One (10th) - Had to move up to listed class this week and was found wanting. Very much only a handicapper Rouen (5th) - Good run off top weight Plug Me In (16th) - Amazed that he beat one home. Worst of my horse in either code. Kate Boy (2nd) - An awful race of 3 but she still couldn't quite win it
They may have well been poor races but I'm still happy with 2 runners in the money with my poor flat team.
Thanks to the team for their continuous hard work.
