Makng Champs (2nd) Great run in the Peter Marsh, lead into the final furlong but could not quite hold on.
Zod (7th) - Another decent showing, this time in the Welsh Champion hurdle
De Soto (8th) - A bad mistake close home cost his chance of collecting some money
Musanid (5th) - Fantastic return to form for this excellent gamebred. He hates heavy ground as well so hopefully by Aintree he will get some faster ground
Zod World (4th) - WOW great run in the Irish Champion hurdle, thought it would be on the short side.
Ghostkonski (10th) - Last of the finishers, always going to be a struggle
Dry County (2nd) - Another good run, still likely to be on a nice mark for the national. That's 2 seconds in a row now
Zod Sterling (10th) - Disappointing run, expected better
Monza (10th) - Never likely to be close in these bumpers

No winners but an excellent day for the stable with 4 making the money including 2 seconds.

Well done to all winners and placers this week

Great day for me winning the Hennessy Gold Cup, absolutely chuffed.
2 winners
1 2nd
2 3rds
Champion -1st- she has finally shown what shes capable of. a beast at home, she was very disappointing last season as i thought she would've won the gold cup but after winning the hennessy i forgive her.

Blow -1st- Back with a huge bang this week. scoped dirty after his last 2 runs. really saw out the race this time and put them to the sword. only negative is i think he likes going right handed a bit better but if he brings his A game to cheltenham then thats all she wrote. oh and really enjoyed revenge over cheltonian :D .

Times Wasting -3rd- Another good performance in the welsh champion. i just hope she can get a win before end of season

What about Now -2nd- big improvement on last week. this mare will always be a danger 2m2-2m4. melling chase possibly

A cracking Mondays racing from my stable

Race 1, Mother Nature, 8th - finished 2nd last time out so was looking for another good run but she ran near the back of the field and never made an impression.

Race 2, Cardenden Lass, fell at the 4th fence.

Race 3, Bumble Lass, 4th - a good solid run, briefly led with 4f to go, just ran out of steam.

Race 4, Millers Girl, 1st - she has run consistently all season, won last 3 outings now. Was last with 4f to go. Showed her class as she sprinted past the field.

Race 5, Devonshire Girl, 7th - was challenging for the lead when hit the last hurdle hard, never recovered. Probably woudn't have won but was hoping for a place.

Race 7, Juniper Girl, 3rd - started race a favourite. Ran a good solid race. Just never had pace of winner.

Race 8, Princess Royal, 1st - this is her 4th win of the season. Jumped the last 2 fences really well and this was just enough to get her into the lead and hold on to the finish.

Race 9, Corporate Express, 1st - ran at the back of the field. Thought he had no chance with 4f to go, but like Millers Girl, he just sprinted past the field.

When I uploaded my stable they were all given the instruction to run at an even pace, but thats 2 horses this week who have come from the back of the field to win. Maybe a hold up with a late sprint is the way to go. Too late to change instructions now.

3 x 1sts
1 x 3rd
1 x 4th

Congrats to all winners and placers.

solid day for me with one winner and a few good places

Spanish Armada -1st- great effort in the 3m novice hurdle, showed a great turn of foot. 2m7 would be ideal but unlikely to get a race at that distance. big chance in albert bartlett

Octopussy -3rd- great run by her, finished strongly to take third in the cleeve hurdle

Times Wasting -2nd- narrow defeat again this week going down by a short head. she powered home but it wasnt to be :(

R1 Inconsequential (4th) - decent effort. didn't quite see out the last 1f but managed to hang on for 4th.
R2 Tumbledown Wind (F) - fell 2nd.
R3 Northern Soul (3rd) - massive run over a trip short of her best. will run in the GC where the extra furlong should suit.
R4 Frankenfurter (8th) - chaser having a day out. ran ok.
R5 Tiny Feet (9th) - was running a decent race until 2 out then got left behind.
R6 Tunes (3rd) - novice chaser. fantastic run over hurdles.
R7 Penny Pincher (5th) - has found life a bit tougher since winning the Fighting Fifth. ran ok but will be much more at home next week at Cheltenham.
R8 Duty Calls (F) - running well and challenging for the lead when she tipped up at the 2nd last.
R9 Grecian Urn (4th) - ran much better than expected over his minimum trip.

well done to all winners and placers.

Zod Sterling (10th) - Always up against it in Graded class
Bang Bang Bang (4th) - A couple of mistakes knocked the stuffing out of her but the winner was too good
Bullfighter (14th) - Really don't know what to say. Jumped terribly and faded to finish a county behind. This horse has placed in a G2 and now can't even keep pace.
Zod World (11th) - Struggled with his big weight
Say My Name (Fell) - Fell at the last when beaten
Makng Champs (14th) - Looks well held by the handicapper now
Chocolate Lover (2nd) - WOW! Where did that come from? Great result in the G2 River Don novice hurdle.

Overall, a pretty good day for me.

Well done to all winners and placers today

Good day today.

Didn't think this would be as good a day as it was since most of the races my horses were entered for were handicaps and they were mostly running off top weight apart from my winner who was bottom weight.

1 x 1st
2 x 2nds
1 x 3rd

R11 Dynamite (2nd) - the only highlight on a pretty bleak day for my stable.
R12 Song And Dance (7th) - had a big weight and better over further.
R13 Sonic Glory (13th) - trip may have been a bit shorter than ideal but that was still a desperately poor run.
R15 Humble Spirit (12th) - better as a chaser than a hurdler in the ck but it's the other way round in the league. yet another terrible effort over the larger obstacles.
R16 Savage Island (10th) - impressive staying chaser in the ck but has been hopeless so far.
R18 Miles To Go (5th) - trip was too short and got outpaced over the last few fences.
R19 Tuneless Wonder (6th) - had a big weight to carry and trip was too short.
R20 Project Rage (9th) - in the money all starts this season until today. easily his worst run of the season.

well done to all winners and placers.
