i dont see how you guys get through so many seasons so quickly lol its taking me ages to get 1 season finished, probably because i watch and bet on each race every day.
one question as i'm still getting used to it, what does it mean when a horse 'ran green' ?

Means it needed the run and run about a bit some do on debut always judge it by its second run.

I usually do ten game days per day on average - like you watching all races.

By the time the next Starters Orders comes out I have had a decent twenty-five year career.

Not much good for league purposes but there is so much to enjoy just playing the game.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you want to enter the league open up a new game and just buy all the group 1 horses that come up for auction.

Can usually get through a season in ten minutes - no racing just purely looking for good group 1 winners.

Makes you competitive in handicaps off low weights.

Thanks guys. Jockey feedback said he ran very green and should improve on this. Try a furlong shorter next time.
.....it was a 5f race - what can be shorter?

Well they do run 4f in usa in real racing perhaps that's something for SO6 on the states Schedule mark can look at.

welcome to the forum Jester

1) I'm a slow player too, takes me 3-4 months IRL to complete a season. Like you I watch stacks of races and enjoy playing this way, I don't bother with the league anyway. There's a few of us on here that play this way.

2) I'm guessing your 2YO is running early in the season? Give it a month or two, and you won't get the message that your horse needs less than the minimum distance.

Cheers

Graham

I would ignore the red jump bar. I have won loads of races in the league with horses that have no jump bar.

trialing in CK shows up quality jumpers (not in game)

My Lge horse Dunguib has no jump stats at all his jumping ability bar is empty (but he is a class chaser)

Well I was backing Dunguib all the way. :D If only the real horse could have done it.

I hope in the new game the jumps bars mean more. Otherwise what's the point of having them.

Agree with this. It shouldn't be so random as to see a horse with nil jumps potential be a beast over fences.
