Hi Mate I am looking for a well balanced jumps team for next season and was looking for some advice


This is what i was thinking

1 x Bumper horse

1 x Triumph Hurdle 4yo

Novice hurdlers
1 x 2 miles
1 x 2 miles 5
1 x 3 miles

Hurdlers
2 x 2 miles
1 x 2 miles 2
2 x 2 miles 5
2 x 3 miles


Novice Chaser
1 x 2 miles
1 x 2 miles 5
1 x 3 miles
1 x 3 miles 2

Staying Chasers
2 x Grand National Horses
1 x 4 miles
2 x 3 miles 5
2 x 3 miles 2

Chaser
2 x 2 miles
1 x 2 miles 2
2 x 2 miles 5
2 x 3 miles

How does that look to you am i missing any

Looks Good to me Paul I had two Juveniles this season because there is two juvenile Races at Cheltenham although I decided not to have a runner in the fred winter which J follis won but that was due to my second string still to high in the handicap but on hindsight perhaps I should of run it.

But that's is near what I put together paul as if your novices aint good enough you can go Handicapping hurdling and Chasing.

Thanks Gray i will look at having 2 novice hurdlers at 2 miles

You need a 3 mile chaser. Some of the biggest races are 3 miles. You don't 3 chasers 4 miles+ There aren't enough races for them

Juvenile ( 4YO ) can run in novice races so you can have a back up 4YO as a novice
