 Re: Jumps Team Progress
I'll be ready next June I reckon. 9 seasons done now, and about 30 horses bred. I am really starting to get some nice ones though, hopefully they'll trial well.

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
That's what I love about this game, u get a good horse like that and u hope they come up with the goods in the breeding barn. There's nothing better when they do.
So Far Greenbank Park has not produced anything for next season.

So Far Greenbank Park has not produced anything for next season. He is so reliable he has fathered my League bumper horse 3 seasons in a row now and also produced the QM winner this season quite a sire it only took him 2 crops to find 1 better than cheltonian he is exceptional really

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
Update on Breeding stayers well after spending the best part of 4 hours at the sales yesterday i found some decent game breds to start my breeding project i then bought in my best stayers off the flat and matched surprised by the early results i actually thought it would take me 8 - 10 seasons to find full bar stayers heres a select few Obviously i am a long way off trialing anything yet but Bull of a Mare is going to be a nice Mare for stud

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
WOW what a season Bull of a Mare wins Cheltenham & Punchestown Gold Cups Collinder had an up and down season some major wins though Hoover Dam was unbeatable in Novice Hurdles and got his G1 at End of Season Only Hoover Dam was fit to export other 2 the dreaded dark green on there bars Hoover Dam will be exported and go to stud but the in game version will go novice chasing next term the other 2 will continue their careers on the track in a hope the dreaded dark green goes away and i can export them

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
What's wrong with the dark green? Does it mean horses don't trial as well, or is it just because they don't have full potential? From the looks of those pictures only Bull of a Mare has any dark green, the other two are just off full potential...?

Look at the pic of Bull of a Mare's Bars the top Bar has about 10 - 15 % Dark green so has not reached her max potential - which is a no no for exporting also i am expecting Collinder to reach full potential next season that bar should fill as you can see hoover filled his bar by end of season

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
I see. So it is because full potential is better than 90-95% (obviously), rather than the horse's ability being adversely affected due to having the dark green? Thanks Paul!

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
UPDATE Great season again Hoover Dam has a storming season as a novice chaser & Remains unbeaten Bull Of A Mare defends both Gold Cups there could be a huge clash next season in the Cheltenham Gold Cup between the 2 Collinder has yet to reach max bar but continued to win G1s now you can see i am taking it slowly Cat Also I only export horses that are 100% (with No Dark Green) Don't think Bull of a Mare will ever get rid of the dark green but she is on her 3rd season at stud i get her 1st 3yo's next season

 Re: Jumps Team Progress
Also, with the Air Africana in-breeding bit. Is that all the same horse? Or is it the same horse transferred into the game again and again once the previous version's potential has depleted. I'm having a major problem with this, I can only use horses for a season or two before their potential is below 50% and then I'm not convinced they're worth breeding from. It would be good if we could get the horses a season after breeding rather than having to wait two seasons, I get so confused!
