Only a couple of runners, never have many at Ascot.
Well done to all winners and placers If you dont mind me asking Follis why not many runners? Do you enter all the handicaps possible? I try to enter as many as possible. Obviously Ascot week has a lot of group races and I try not to enter these. Maybe one or two a week if I'm low on numbers. I've still got a decent number running this week just not many at Ascot

Got my first runner today, not expecting a lot but will see how Corridor Creeper runs. My best chance in the league to produce results is Rwendara, will see how he goes tomorrow.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
G2 winner today but have not shifted my seconditis
1st 1 2nd 2 4th 2
13 Ribblesdale Stakes Reappearance WINNER well judged ride from the jockey went after the leader at right time and got away from rest of the pack nice to bag a group race with this filly always thought alot of her
14 Ascot Gold Cup Finnly 2nd never thought he had a chance in this so delighted with that run i thought he may have been outclassed but stepped up to the plate bad luck Drum Taps
16 Tercentenary Stakes Empoli 2nd which is a decent debut but jockey gave him a terrible ride shocking alot better to come from empoli a lot of time went into this horse
17 King George V Handicap Bymount 2nd and for me that was performance of the season carrying top weight what a great run from my Derby Flop almost held on to win
18 Albany Stakes Smoking Express 4th had every chance but folded in final half furlong i now suspect she does not stay 6f or she needs a fast 6f
19 Go Racing In Yorkshire Maiden Stakes Appearance Of God 4th set the race up for the field easily passed 2 out but stayed on well to nab 4th
well done to winners and placers and thanks to the team Davey these comms just get better and better thank you

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R11 Formidable (2nd) - good run over his minimum trip. R14 Somnambulist (6th) - didn't stay. R15 Scriptwriter (1st) - won comfortably. will try and find another handicap. R17 Hands On The Clock (1st) - a bit of a plodder but she does like Ascot and managed to grind out the win. R19 Midday Sun (11th) - didn't stay R20 Wood Bridge (4th) - solid effort. ran better than expected.
well done all winners and thanks to Davy for the comms.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Not to be for Drum Taps, congrats to the winner.
Drum Taps 4th, will go back to 2 miles now. In The Groove 4th, more like out with the washing Steaming Home 5th, i know he didn't like Ascot but that was awful. Gay Gallanta 4th, didn't show much.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Too Much William (2nd) - Excellent result in the Britannia, no chance with the winner though Stand and Stare (5th) - Always nice to pick up some prize money in a group race Liquid Luna (4th) - Finally shows a bit of form Cigarettes and Alcohol (9th) - Agitated again but still beat 3 home
3 out of 4 in the money, very good day for me.

22 Coronation Stakes Gallicktyne 4th not really suited by Ascot so not surprised she didn't go well

26 Chesham Stakes Hatrick Hero 4th she has been a big disappointment this season maybe better against her own gender
28 Diamond Jubilee The Greek Gods 3rd a decent run boxing above his weight he is not a g1 horse so happy with a place
35 Racing UK Maiden Stakes Sky Sports Three WINNER great debut from SS3 was trapped wide and detatched at the back but put in a mighty run about 4 out and picked them off one by one delighted with that debut maybe Irish Derby Next
36 Belmont Stakes Dead Eye Sniper Out for a jog round Belmont and stayed on to nick some money in 5th WHAT A RACE absolutely brilliant stuff from GHOSTZAPPER Many Many Congratulations to John what an achievement mate unreal a triple crown that is a beauty of a horse mate wow simply stunning
