Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
I know everyone normally thinks im out of order but almost every race over a distance just isn't a race. Most of that field couldn't win after 2-3f. Its the same for nearly all races over 2m, except the big field handicaps, and a lot of the small field races as well over 7f+. If you played call of duty or battlefield and your guns didn't work on certain classes then no one would play the game and/or people would be moaning forever.
I think Mark makes a great game but i emailed him in 2012 and 2013 regarding this problem and it has not been fixed. Not good enough imo.

A good week overall.
Drum Taps 2nd beaten by a better horse. Point of Light 3rd slightly disappointing. Salsabil 6th, that run was as bad a run from one of my horses, Shmooze 1st, she's very special on her day.

Sorry Paul No I agree was a stolen race Flemington Flyer is the Dick Turpin Robin Hood or Ronnie Biggs of horses Robbing ******* I think he has nicked a few big pots this season Paul Flemington and Drums are the Batman and Robin of the league.

Decent week. Fabulous Dancer wins second handicap of season, as does Starcraft. Six wins from my game bred stable now.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Little Frankie (4th) - Ran on very well at the end but far too late to win. Good run though at listed level for the stable star Get What She Wants (6th) - If she had not been hampered she may have finished top 3. Excellent run in the Ebor Stand and Stare (12th) - Ran an absolute stinker. Last Franken (13th) - An awful horse. Last Moohimm (6th) - A farcical race but a decent showing Castellet (3rd) - Beat one home but at least this donkey has qualified for AW finals day Too Much William (4th) - Good run over a furlong too far. That's another one qualified for finals day Bus Link (6th) - Only beat one home over a trip too far
3 more making the money with Little Frankie continuing to outshine her stable mates.
Well done to all winners and placers

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Some disappointing efforts this week but still managed two wins so not a total loss. The highlights...
Race 11 - Take It To The Limit (1st) - Third win in a row. Real game type. Cambridgeshire is next.
Race 24 - Warning Issued (1st) - Got the perfect setup. Can't see her winning again.
Heads up to Leon - Results for Race 11 aren't in TOM.
Great racing again y'all. Congrats to all who participated let alone winning. Thanks as always to the league team. The SO5 league beginning to ride off into the sunset now. Enjoy while it lasts.

A day of what if's.
Stop Day 5th, gets to far behind. Miesque 2nd, best run since the 1000. Desert Sky 1st, a battle all the way to the line. Ghostzapper 2nd, another outstanding run on the grass. Moon Madness 5th, no pace had no chance. Drum Taps 2nd, another great run from the old man.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
The Flat wins are now hard to come by I think my horse's are now Handicapped out of things but Raise U five won race 2 Old Borough Cup well perhaps I made a mistake in not entering this one in the ebor last week instead of Water Lilly but on the weights Water Lilly was the better horse.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R2 Prophecy (2nd) - got stuck on the rail and by the time he got a run, Gray's winner had flown. unlucky. R6 Somnambulist (1st) - he finished 2nd in this race last season and ran a cracker to go one better. chuffed. R8 Cry Me A River (7th) - won a weak race over 5f lto but really needs a minimum of 6f. could never get into the race. R10 Hedgeley Road (6th) - ran ok. wasn't good enough.
congrats to all winners and placers and thanks to Davy for the comms.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Get What She Wants (7th) - Finished a lot closer than the position suggests Bus Link (11th) - As expected he finished last in the Doncaster Cup Rehearsal Hall (8th) - Not bad but worst run for a while. Hopefully the handicapper will drop him a couple of pounds Mince Pie (4th) - Another solid run, could sneak another win before the season ends
Only 1 making the money on a quiet day for me
Thanks, as always, for the team running the races

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Just 3 runners today and a winner amongst them well done to the winners and placers thanks to the team and great comms again
Race 11 Flowing Lights 3rd thought she had it in bag furlong from home but ended up 3rd
Race 12 Castel De Valentee 4th shocking ride and hampered several times in final 2 furlongs sad to see him loose his unbeaten record very unlucky.
Race 15 Apperance of God WINNER WOW WOW WOW the most visually brilliant win of my league career he leads the whole way overtaken from 2 out cruises back up to take it up again and goes across the line on the bridal a must see if you have not watched it delighted with that it was AWESOME
