Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
The dodgy photos happen several times a season, don't think any of the results have been changed so far. Another thing to thank the racekit for.

Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
Day 2
R11 Bet Victor Queen Mother Champion Chase - Blazing Walker will make sure this race will not be a walk loves to front run this should set this race up for something held off the pace chance none. (7th Like above faded ran well )
R12 Glenfarclas Handicap Chase - Double Trigger Comes late on the scene step up in trip may well play in to his hands here well handicapped top 3. (9th Disappointing run i expected better needs to step up next week to qualify for Moores Final)
R13 Fred Winter Juv. H'cap Hurdle - Llandeilo Disappointing all season see no change here. (finally showing some form grabbed 3rd thinking a step up in trip might help)
R14 Champion Bumper G1 - Burrough Hill Lad this is the most hard tp predict races on the cards but the hill will help top 3. (top 3 i said and top 3 i got will be better suited for Aintree Next Week)
R15 Golden Miller Novices' Chase G2 Book Of Brilliant Things Great Live Song not so the horse been around the places all season place best chance here. (again rans well without winning fifth was a good result)
R17 Ryanair Chase G1 - Thethingaboutitis Not the horse of last year only win this season was maiden hurdle in week 1 but if could find his form of last season could pull off a surprise. (Ran his best race all season and grabbed 5th happy with that back to try and win the race he was last year at Aintre )
R18 Ladbrokes World Hurdle G1 - Magical Dance Tough mare with four wins this season including last two wins in Grade 2 once headed seems to fall away but love this track both Knockara Beau and Material girl have beaten her this season so top3 but i hope she wins she deserves a Grade 1. (4th i Knew Jamies horse was good and too good but ran well)
R19 Byrne Group Handicap Plate Chase - Walking Dead Jumping has been the problem but is well handicapped loves the trip great Chance top 3. (Yea 1st Knew he was well Handicapped trip was right and finally jumps a clear round and wins well my first winner Aintree bound for the Topham jumping could cause a problem over them Fences.)
R20 Falke Walwyn Kim Muir H'cap Cup Chase - Madam Butterfly Too much weight here for a day out No Chance. (ran well of such a weight but only 7th)
Finally a Cheltenham winner and some nice runs aswell much better day.
Gray

Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
Musa Jets (7th) - Probably held by the handicapper now but the trip was slightly too far anyway Lunigan (9th) - Never looked likely to win the race won by the yard last season. Ground was too soft Westmoreland Road (10th) - Ran a stinker to finish last in the bumper Day Trip (PU) - 3 early mistakes put him way out the back and he pulled up. Very disappointed in that performance Bullfighter (10th) - Too many well handicapped horses to beat in the Pertemps Final Shine One (10th) - Didn't seem to get home in the Ryanair but it was a tough ask anyway Aristofilia (6th) - Ran really well for a gamebred in the World Hurdle. If it wasn't for the jockey pulling him so much he would have been in the money. Bang Bang Bang (4th) - Really good run and will be still on a lovely weight to defend the Topham next week. Dads Lad (UR) - In second and looked certain for a place when unseating at the last.
No winners today and a pretty poor day all round. Thought today would be my best chances but only 1 made the money. Day Trip ran an absolute shocker in the Golden Miller
Well done to all winners

Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
R11 Dusty Tools (Champion Chase) - Likes the track but has been a bit hit and miss this season. Has an ew chance if his jumping holds up. (4th - solid effort. beaten by better horses.)
R12 Wonderland (Glenfarclas Hcap Chase) - An encouraging debut has been followed by several lack-lustre efforts. Would have a very good chance at the weights if she produces her best. (1st - race could not have gone any better. delighted)
R13 Little Drummer Boy (Fred Winter Juv Hcap Hurdle) - Pace pusher running off top weight. Will most likely set the race up for something that's better handicapped. (4th - good run. didn't have the pace of the placed horses from the last.)
R14 Oceanic (Champion Bumper) - Impressive winner on her second start but has been woeful last two runs. More than capable of winning or placing but could just as easily finish in the last three. (1st - second successive season I've won the bumper. under pressure a long way out but once in front she is really tough to get by and managed to grind out the win.
R15 Pinewood (Golden Miller Nov Chase) - Has been running over 2m4f all season but I'm not convinced the trip suits. Very tempted to switch with Wonder Of You and run in the Arkle instead. (6th - made a bad mistake 3 out and that ended his chance)
R16 Soldier Blue (Pertemps Final) - Very good horse in the ck but has been dreadful all season. Likes the track and ground will suit more than in previous weeks. If he had run anywhere near his ck form this season would be rated closer to 150 than 105. (13th - if I had to pick a winner from my runners today, it would have been him. I give up)
R17 Time Charter (Ryanair Chase) - Has struggled to hit the heights of last season and is a better hurdler than chaser. However, C&D&G will suit and has a genuine ew chance if her jumping holds up. (1st - wins at the festival for the second time, she won the Neptune nov hurdle last season, and gives me a second successive win in this race as well.)
R18 Cave Dweller (World Hurdle) - Hurdling debut. Unlikely to see out the trip and running to give me a bit of interest in the race. (8th - ran well until he got very tired last 2f.)
R19 Upside Down (Byrne Group Plate) - Jumping needs to improve and better over slightly shorter. Probably too high in the weights as well. (F 2nd) - jumping let her down yet again.
R20 Celebrate (Kim Muir Hcap Chase) - Not sure what her best trip is tbh. Has place claims but will be happy to make the top 5. (5th - got outpaced down the hill before running on from the last. could have done with an extra furlong.)
congrats to all winners and placers and thanks to Davy for the comms.

Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
Day 3
R21 JCB Triumph Hurdle G1 - Wayward Lad winner of Grade 2 Summit hurdle will love the track great chance top 3 ( 2nd Great Result has predicted top 3)
R22 Vincent O'Brien County Handicap Hurdle - Welsh Wizrad winner of the Greatwood Hurdle and now down to winnable mark again go close Top 4. ( 3rd Another placed horse has predicted top 4 )
R23 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle G1 - Vampire Kiss will struggle here with Oscar Well looking above average top6. ( Struggled and Well Beaten)
R24 BetFred Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase G1 - Electric Blue trips on the short side needs 3m 5f but its nice to have a runner in the gold cup No Chance. ( YEAAAAAH ! even i could never predict that the Jewel of jump racing and won it well too been disappointing until i stepped up to 3m 5f thought the jump back was against him but for once jumped like a stag won that well must say some horse's in the field didn't show up but its Gold Cup Glory and Pontypool will be celebrating Tonight.)
R25 CGA Foxhunter's H'Cap Chase - Grayrose Double Needs further comes late hope for a fast pace come late and Steal well handicapped top3. (1st Grayrose Double really well handicapped the distance was the only problem won it well)
R26 Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle - Risca Maiden whos run with promise many times not badly Handicapped good each way chance top 4 ( Don't care lol run bad so what)
R27 Johnny HrndersonGrand Annual Handicap Chase - Downhill skier 2m winner earlier in the season still handicapped to run well top 6 ( thought it might win top 6 predicted so 5th aint that bad will win again somewhere before the end of season)
R28 Paul Moores Grade 1 - Make An Stand needs 4m 4f but this looks tough still next week is the race i'm after. (1st Yeah i will take this prize for the second time in 3 seasons on the way to National Glory will take some stopping this horse loves a fight )
It's taken me 5 seasons to win the Gold Cup yes i am a Gold Cup winning trainer good day for the yard and the best day so far in my league career that was unexpected but really welcomed three winners on the day taking two of the big prizes of the meeting now in the top 5 trainers table i reallly think that Make an stand now rated 137 has a great chance this week to boost my earnings even more in the Grand National great day for the yard.
Gray
Thanks Paul.

Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
Lundoes (10th) - Beat 2 home but as expected outclassed in the triumph Zod (19th) - Only beat one, rated too high Ibiza (11th) - Hated the better ground and finished last. Why was it run as a handicap?? Agage (9th) - Gutted, a poor run in the Gold Cup Call The Police (4th) - Solid run again in the Foxhunters One World (16th) - Never looked likely to defend the Martin Pipe, another one rated too hight Turning Up The Heat (8th) - Never got into the race Dry County (3rd) - Without a mistake 4 out he could have won. Big prize money won in the Paul Moores though Galaxy Role (Fell) - Fell about halfway round Champ In Trouble (7th) - Stayed on far too late, needs further Estoril (1st) - 2 out of 2 with and his lowly mark can go in again another couple of times
Only 1 Cheltenham winner this year, a little disappointed after getting 2 last year. Delighted to see Estoril putting a winning run together over fences 12 wins beats last years total, just need to beat my money total now
Congrats to Gray on his Gold Cup win

Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
R21 Daylight (Triumph Hurdle) - Disappointing so far and can't see him getting competitive in this. Mid-field finish looks the best I can hope for. (6th - going well when he got stuck behind the weakening pace setter and was effectively knocked out of the race. ran on to finish 6th.)
R22 A Deeper Blue (County Hcap Hurdle) - Re-routed from the Champion Hurdle and should have a solid ew shout. Would prefer softer going though. (11th - hated the better ground and never went a yard.)
R23 Bad Dream (Albert Bartlett Nov Hurdle) - Looks up against it and will struggle to finish in the top 5. (7th - finished a very long way behind. poor run.)
R24 Topper (Gold Cup) - Has been very disppointing and will do well to finish in the first 8. Entered solely to give me a runner in the race. (13th and a distant last - I wasn't expecting him to challenge for prize money but that was absolutely desperate. if he had gone any slower he would have been lapped.)
R25 Tobermory (Foxhunters) - Trip will suit and while he carries top weight, this doesn't look the strongest renewal. Should be thereabouts. (Unseated 4th)
R26 Night Nurse (Martin Pipe Hcap Hurdle) - Has to give over 14lbs to all bar 2 of his rivals. Likely to be in need of a nurse by the end of the race. (11th - had a big weight but that was still a shocking effort.)
R27 Sea Shanty (Grand Annual Hcap Chase) - Has been running well all season and looks to be my best chance of a winner. (2nd - good run to end a bitterly disappointing final day. no chance with the impressive winner)
todays other runners. R29 Blue Sky (4th) - good run and might have gone closer with a better ride. R30 Carmen Black (11th) - ran for 2m then stopped. worst run of the season. R31 Age Of Reason (5th) - track didn't suit and is a much better hurdler than chaser. R32 Beware Of The Hare (3rd) - best form has been in 3m chases so expected him to struggle. great effort.
congrats to Gray on your Gold Cup win and well done to all other winners and placers.

Terrible week this week with the lowlight being Hard Gainer setting the pace in the Ryanair thus ruining any chance he had to get a share of the money.

Congrats to Gray on winning the Gold Cup. Just got back after a week away, really pleased to see Knockara Beau continue unbeaten, Radiator winning the Champion Hurdle and just an all-round brilliant week for my yard. Dead chuffed, well done all winners. Grand National next.

Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
Aristofilia (6th) - Always seems to just finish outside the money in the big races Lundos (11th) - Only beat 1 home in the Anniversary hurdle, to be expected though Agage (UR) - Unseated before halfway, another disappointing run Estoril (11th) - Couldn't make it a hat-trick of wins in a higher class handicap. Too many mistakes and headed early Day Trip (UR) - Unseated at the second last when fading badly Bullfighter (2nd) - Ran on really well again after the last in finish second. No chance with the easy winner Bang Bang Bang (Fell) - Fell at Beechers Brook. Absolutely gutted, she was jumping really well before that. Just couldn't defend her title.
Only 1 in the money today.
Well done to all winners and placers

Re: NH : Talk Reaction Banter
I have had awful luck all jump season and today it just got worse I'll be glad when the jump season is over. Welsh Oak 0, has been a bitter disappointment. Long Engagment 2nd, hit the last Sybillin 1st, well deserved always runs his race. Gaye Brief 3rd, u never getting married. Three Counties 4th, shouldn't have run him on that ground. Miss Academy 0, poor all season. Returning 1st, very average in trials but has been a star. Santa Concerto 2nd, ran them ragged and then the Titanic hit the Iceberg and Sank
